Dammit, if I went through my iTunes posting acts I wish I could still see live it would take up too much time, so I'll just post a potpourri of names.

Fine Young Cannibals
IF I saw them anytime between 1985-1990, I would've BEEN THERE in the front just JAMMIN. JAMMMMMIn lolll in a damn jean jacket and shades NO GAMES WITH IT. *clap* BTW, this clip is my SHITT.

Les Rythmes Digitales 」 Nooooo!! fit
circa 1999-2000, I was too young to go and even if I was older, I don't think he even brought it to the States!

INXS
anytime in the '80s would've been awesome to me especially during the "Original Sin" era or KICK. O.M.GGG.

Ian Dury & The Blockheads
he passed in 2000, but I would've love to have been @ this show or seen him live sometime during the late '70s

Clor
Barry: few understand your buggedoutedness.

Rick James.

Never got around to see Slick Rick. Almost had a chance after he did his prison stint and started touring old school. He did a show with Teena. I begged people I knew to go with me... nobody wanted to see "old school".

Dang! I should have gone by myself. Within 1 year, Rick was gone.

Rick James (my Mom would let me go to concerts then hmph!)
James Brown in the 60s

hmmm

My parents saw the Rat Pack & Sammy Davis jr. each a few times... My Mom was into Sammy Davis jr. the way I'm into Prince. She used to drag my Dad to shows. Their accounts sounded great! biggrin

This is why I refuse to see older artists I admire for their younger day works; I had the chance to see people like James Brown, Blondie, Sly Stone, The Police etc, but I rather IMAGINE them glorious then remember a half lame performance and spoil the music afterwards by remembering that experience.

Yes, but some are still able to pull off a magnificent performance a la Stevie Wonder, The Pixies, Etta James, some would argue Prince even.

I will give Prince one more try. I have seen Parade, SOTT and Lovesexy. I have seen him do amazing aftershows, it's sad to see him become a sort of disco revival band doing covers.

Pixies were indeed great, David Bowie still packs a mean live punch. Would have gone to see Al Green, if I had known about it.

Blondie, maybe. I'm afraid though...
