Girls Aloud set to make "Promise" their 4th number one and 19th straight top 10 single

The uk's midweek numbers in Girls Aloud have a 2 to 1 margin over the number 2 song in the UK, so it looks if all holds that Girls Aloud will have their 4th number one, and regardless will make their 19th single, also their 19th top 10 hit, easily making them the biggest girl group in uk's history. Also in GA's news, Chris Martin of Coldplay and Duff Mckagan of GNR have admitted to being in love with the girl group and both want to work with them, chris martin wants to write them a song or two, and Duff wants GNR to back them up for a gig. The Girls 6th album in 6 years hits November 3rd in all markets but the US.

The Sugababes are the most successful UK girlband and worldwide it's the Spice Girls.

Ok were not talking "succesful" in terms of sales. Girls Aloud have admitted that the Spice Girls were dominant everywhere, but were a fad. Sugababes have sold more BUT have had member changes, and neither the Spice Girls nor the Sugababes have landed 19 top 10's, and niether have had the output.

Some people are like Slinkies...

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Have to disagree, i have all the Sugababes albums but not too much stands out on their records, some grreat stuff here and there, but very hit and miss, the new album is good though
