I'm still looking for the New York-London-Paris-Munich album. Modeselektor // Bmi
Cool. My fave song from that same album is "The Dark Side of The Sun." Total mindbender on a loud club soundsystem.

Is that a bad thing? You not crazy about that song? I love almost their whole catelogue. But I love the sound and the words have special meaning to me on this one. Fine, "Leave Me Alone" is my favorite.

Sometimes I think so. I've listened to it for hours on repeat. The concept really intrigues me too - the idea of a physical place specifically to make time stop.

I love the scope of the song, the build up. When I got the album, it immediately went on my Pure playlist. Probably cuz it draws a line between Low and Heroes. And you know how I love Low. Are you into Broken Social Scene at all? Aksel hipped me to them and there is this track called Mossbraker that is ALSO instrumental and ALSO has that musical arch. I often play these two songs back to back.

But I'm intested in that band. The electronic chirping and barking at the end of "Moss Garden" gets me every time. I have no idea where I am in the song until that part, so it's a pretty convincing demonstration of how to make time stop.

The remix of Paisley Park does that to me, somehow. And the extended version of Girl. They both have the power to stretch time for me, but I suppose that is personal.

The remix of Paisley Park does that to me, somehow. As well as The Kick Inside of Kate Bush and Low, of course. And This Is Not America. And, and, and.
