The Passing Of George Carlin

I awoke this morning to the sad news that my favorite comedian and the only person that I knew that really told it like it was, George Carlin had died of heart failure. He will be missed pray

Who remembers his small role in the 1976 movie 'Car Wash'? He played the cab driver that spends the whole movie looking for the prostitute who didn't pay the fare

I shall miss his humour. His rants on religion were both priceless and on point.

I was watching his famous "7 dirty words", skit. While it is not only funny it was so true. The thing that made him great to me was that most of what he said was true...He made us think and laugh at the same time. This is also what made Richard as well Redd great. Can you imagine what all three are doing right now in heaven?

He was a unique stylist. So funny. So smart. One of the all-time comedy greats.

Loved him. I watched him so much growing up. He was one of several comics (Robin Williams, Roseanne, Sam Kinison, etc.) I would watch all the time on HBO and helped form my personal view of comedy. He knew how to piss people off just enough to get them to keep listening to him. Smart, smart comedy.
