Yes, but she has been talking about the tour the last couple of weeks and months and nobody believed her... but announcing the tour means it's on, tourdates, date of tickets going on sale... and so on! Besides, JanetJackson.com is official! Ellen is not! | |

They are both official  . Janet is announcing her world tour, they're giving away tickets to each show, and she's performing tomorrow in support of the tour - what could be more official than that?

Wow. Shocked she would name a TOUR after a SONG that has the same name as a MICHAEL song. From "Control" to dropping "jackson" from "janet." she has been trying to dissociate herself from his legacy and 'make it on her own' for 2 decades...now it's the "Rock with U" tour? Interesting. I like the title though. Beats the hell out of "Sticky and Sweet" tour.

I hope ticket prices aren't astronomical. I'd really like to go, as long as it isn't an arm and a leg. She's still not worth that to me, even though I'm really digging Discipline and willing to give her the benefit of the doubt that it won't be the same damn show she does every tour. [Note: The line may be inactive until 3PM today, as she is discussing the tour and performing on Ellen today.] Other dates we know about: Montreal - September 29 Boston - October 1 (price range $45-125) Uncasville, CT (Mohegan Sun Casino) - October 10 Janet will perform Rhythm Nation and Luv on Ellen tomorrow and announce the tour.
