Ha, ha- I thought you were gonna to come back with "actually I made that"...I've done that before! sad
Some fans take so much time in making these covers- it's like they just can't wait for the real thing...fun though, I suppose.

No, it's not my creation eheheh

Anyway, to be serious, on EIL.com...

It's really unfortunate, but this is always happening- someone gets hold of an image from an artists fan site and advertise it as the real deal...
I cannot remember who it was recently, but Amazon placed an obviously fan made image as the album cover- the HMV website does this all the time.
It's the anxiety of getting there first, but they just end up looking desperate and unprofessional. I'd much rather see "album cover coming soon" as it builds excitement and the anticipation of the release of the image.
It's kind of annoying as they must see that previous Madonna album covers are so meticulously art directed to the themes of the album including the font and images to present the work as a whole package. It's probably some poor soul that works for these online sites who's been told to find images for the releases etc.
There are actually better fan made images out there that they could of used, like this one:

"There is no such thing in life as normal..."

Well as i figured when i knew that Janet,Madonna and Mariah were releasing music within a month or two of each other, i just figured that Madonna's would most likely be the better and more interesting. With Janet's , though it may have been better than 20YO, this album quickly became repetitive with its 22 tracks and bathroom breaks, nothing new. Mariah, who is my favorite, she hasnt done anything interesting with this new single, and the rest of the album looks to be a "whos in at the moment" type of sell out, and the music will be so polished and slick it will be nothing more than a one or two listen album before it becomes nothing interesting. Madonna, who i have always been into from day one, and at times have not liked everything she does, at least she shakes shit up, i dont know what this album will do, but at least i can be sure it will be more interesting than the others.

That Interview cover... 50 is the new Fabulous. Whew.

Not feeling 4 Minutes but definitely looking forward to this album and Madonna in general. Best part is I've been skipping over reviews and comments so I know very little of what to expect. After awhile you just have to hear something for yourself. So I think I'm going to keep holding out until it's officially released instead of trying to predict what I think it is or whether I'll like it or not. And on that note excited

it doesn't look like her to me. i mean, i can see some similarities in there, but i really had to do a double take to see them. it looks more like a mannequin made up to look like Madonna than anything.

I almost thought it was one of hte photos taken from the video shot only it's very plasticy. Someting like that would be cool. She's never looked younger...Not just the unreal face but the look, which is if not parts from the video is inspirired by the photos seen there....If only fans were in charge of this, though...

I like "Push" too. That's a straight-up R&B song....very Old School-flavored.It wouldn't have been out of place on a Mariah Carey or Beyonce album.I don't know why some fans are shocked/surprised/horrified that Madonna is doing an R&B album. She's always done R&B songs throughout her career,"Push" being one recent example.

You're doing the right thing.I've been a Madonna fan forever and I've learned that it's best to wait and listen to her album for yourself.Whenever there's a new CD on the way, there's a tremendous amount of hype. There are all these early reports on what the songs sound like, fake tracklists, incorrect details and track descriptions, etc.Fansites are battling with each other to get the "scoop" before others get it.In many cases, the album is nothing like the way it's being described, lol.I enjoy the hype but in the end,I gotta hear it for myself.

I know a fan who always says it will be the last album he will buy...the bitch always ends buying it and changes his mind..

I still remember when he almost had an heart attack when he read the news that COADF was a mixed album...Silly queen! lol

for me i care about producers. dallas austin did TLC, "Secret" was hot. Babyface is babyface -"Take a Bow" was hot. andre betts was an up and coming left of center star - the erotica tracks were great. stuart price is an awesome producer - "push" is tolerable.

"Push" has a strong bridge (I think that's the bridge...the "Every Step I take" part?) but other than that, it's kind of useless. I think about it, beyond the singles, I didn't get into COADF much.

Push and Let it will be were the filler material of COADF. Still it's an inferior album compared to the forgotten masterpiece that is American life.

Still, COADF is the Madonna album I think I have listened the most, even though I despise the overtly camp imagery it had. But hey, being a madonna fan defies one's logic and believes (and prejudices!)

I never saw "Push" as filler. I and I believe others who may not have liked it always thought it was the obvious single since it had an element of R&B that might have done well on radio....Then again, maybe time proved you right since she didn't even do it on tour!

Yep. Push is not of the same "soundscape" of the rest of the album. But still she put it on the tracklist.

Even not being of my liking, I think it would have been a great US single.

I was actually pretty surprised that Push wasn't a single. I love it, but I recognize it's probably not the best thing on the album. Still, it had the best shot of being a hit in America. It's the track with the most crossover potential for radio here.

I'd even say that "Push" is much better than "Sorry" which is one of the most overhyped Madonna songs ever. Long before we got COADF, it was hyped as the perfect second single etc while I always thought it's nothing special. Hopefully Hard Candy won't have a track like this (I'm thinking about "Give It 2 Me" or "Miles Away" now, to be exact).

And Mike, I'm missing your Bedtime Stories avatar already! razz

Yeah, same here. I'm not really likely to skip anything on the album considering how it's tracked, but "How High" and "Like It Or Not" are the ones I'm most likely to tune out while they're playing.

There are several new interviews and articles but I'm too tired to post them all lol here are some highlights...

***Madonna says that Pharell was surprised at how hard she works."That work ethic still exists",she says."I don't think it was a surprise to Justin and Timbaland, but Pharrell just kept referring to me as a workhorse. He complained about my relentless ability to sit still for very long, but he got over it evntually" lol

***"Madonna worked me to death" says Pharrell."But you know what? I'm glad I was pushed, because it's some of my best work.'Hard Candy' is one of the best albums in years".

***Among the tracks that fans will hear on this next outing is "She's Not Me",which Madonna describes as "the ultimate jilted lover song" and "Spanish Lesson",which was inspired by the Latino dance craze,The Percolator.

***Of the song "Incredible",Madonna says "That's not about my career, that's about a relationship. It's not even necessarily about me,but the idea that often at times we take people for granted and we lose our sense of appreciation for them. Then something goes wrong and all you can think about is how you want to get it back the way it was, because it was incredible. So sometimes you almost have to lose something before you can appreciate it."

These fake album covers are fun,but yeah I agree,it's getting out of hand lol It's one thing for fans to create this stuff and post in on fansites, but it's crazy when on-line retailers and the mainstream media start to use these images, fooling the public.Remember the 'Licorice' album cover, started by Robster? Even Billboard was convinced that it was the real thing!! lol
