what are some of ya'lls favorite
Niecy tunes? mines "The Paper", "If You Don't Believe" "Turn Around", "Like Magic" "The Boy I Left Behind", "Sweet Surrender" and "I Want You" to name a few "You're All That Matters" oh GOD... I love most of her early stuff before the 80's catastrophe I mean, all of it wasn't bad but she had a very after that Let's Hear It For The Boy album both her & Natalie Cole had that material in the 80's where you either love it or you hate it LOL because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

I love "Niecy".. and love this song, cool performance. Those youngster's need to take note's. Don't kill your performance, with a lot of over the top runs, screaming, and unnecessary shouting... Just sing the song.

Not to start crap but Mariah's Fly Like A Bird sounds too damn similar to this song...

I was listening to a collection of Niecy's duets w/Johnny Mathis and really enjoyed their take on You're All I Need to Get By. Though it was a big R&B hit, I'd never heard it.

Not bad for backing vocalist:Minnie Riperton, Deniece Williams, Lynda Laurence, and Syreeta Wright,..aka Wonderlove.

[Edited 12/18/07 22:13pm] once you get a feel for her material I suggest you start with the debut album and hear all the full albums up til Let's Hear It For The Boy you'd enjoy the album tracks a whooole lot if you're like me... it's like EW+F albums (well This Is Niecy and Songbird are) but only Niecy on lead vocals sorta like Stevie is to early Syreeta Larry G. is to Betty Davis Saadiq is to Joss Stone's latest I'ma sucker for musicianship [Edited 12/19/07 12:54pm] because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
