I've loved this song since the first time I listened to the album. Great song! Nice as a duet. Still prefer the original, but this one is good too. Thanks for posting biggrin

I've loved this song from the moment I heard it and Beyoncé adds a nice feeling to it.
What scares me is Justin and his wannabie-Princeries. It's what has made him better and more interesting, but where will this end...? P and B have been doing their thing(s) together and now Justin hooks up with her. Coincidence? hmmm

Btw, Am I wrong or does Beyoncé sing "I just wanna spend my time with yo girl" instead of "boy"?

lol

That chorus is sooooo Michael Jackson. Mike should pull a Mortal Kombat video game move on Justin and snatch his head off his body. Beyoncé sounds good on here. I ain't hating on the song. Its nice.

I know, but maybe it is one of those songs that MJ rejected again....Remember, "Like I love you", and "Senorita". MJ rejected them and JT scooped the right up.

I like this song.

But this track emphasizes the fact that Justin Timberlake is a mediocre singer. Nothing special.

I don't think Timbaland has ever worked on tracks for Michael

No, I do not think so. But is it true that the Neptunes or Pharrell submitted songs to Michael Jackson during the HIStory and Invincible recording sessions?

When I said it sounded like Michael, I meant vocally and melodically, not the track.

I was responding to Shorttrini indiciataing that Timbaland produced that track and i don't think that it was a Michael reject because i don't recall Timbaland ever working with Michael

I'm shocked that I like it. What's it for...Let me guess....the 19th release of "B'Day"?

I'm starting to get sort of weirded out by how much crediblity, praise and admiration gets, probably for a track like this....More than Prince?

I just noticed that. What's with the Beyonce mix, though? Just for radio and sell the single online?

Nah, it's for Justin adding something to his Prince wannabie-ing.

It came from Raspberry Beret and Beautiful Ones....he also used the same linn drum from Raspberry Beret for Do It by Nelly Furtado.

I always liked this song though..dont care if its sampled...

Timberland didn't but, some of the tracks that ended up on Justin's first CD were meant for Michael. They were done by Pharell and reworked for Justin's CD.

Prince didn't invent the Linn drums; that's why they are called LINN DRUMS - after Roger LINN - not Rogers Nelson. Its easy to find a sample of a Linn drum. They're everywhere on any vintage drum sample CD. To say that Timb sampled them from Prince is basically starting a rumor that is probably untrue.

Well....not everybody that had the Linn Drum made the sounds that Prince made out of them. So you are saying Timbaland made his own sounds doing the exact same thing that Prince did (sampling the Linns through different effects, even through his guitar), I highly doubt it, especially when clearly in the beginning just before he starts singing you can hear the air in the background of the sample from the Beautiful Ones.
