If Marvel had that idea today, they should totally record a fake CD and sell it with one of Dazzler's books. They could still do it. Just make it a one-shot special and have someone like Anastacia donate some b-sides.

You know, she was originally supposed to be Grace Jones, but that changed into Bo Derek. I've always thought of her as a cross between Donna Summer and Debbie Harry. If they did something now, Kylie would probably be a good choice.

Ha, I just read on Wikipedia that releasing an actual Dazzler album was the original idea back in 1980 on Casablanca Records, but Casablanca backed out. Oh well.

8.Jem & the Holograms
When They Rocked: 1985-88

Record store owner by day, pink-haired pop diva by night, Jem and her Holograms meant more to '80s pre-teen girls than most of their flesh-and-blood MTV counterparts. With her glamorous style and truly outrageous pop tunes, only 2-D riot grrrls the Misfits came close to stealing Jem's thunder.

What about the banana splits? They had their tv show and their own comic books.

" One banana, two banana, three banana, four bananas make a bunch and so do many more"

This is classic song writing here. lol

Sticking to walls/proportionate strength of a spider - COOL

Near limitless strength, run 700 mph, leap miles at a time - COOL

Adamanium claws, healing factor, animal savagery - COOL

Ability to turn your body into flame - COOL

Immortal, ability to fly, incredible strength, wielding a badass hammer - COOL

Ability to stretch - NOT COOL!

rolleyes It's not the coolest, but I wouldn't call it uncool. As a general rule, the scientific geniuses don't have the coolest powers (because that would be unfair) -- see Reed Richards, Hank Pym (Yellowjacket excepted), Tony Stark, and Bruce Banner. Peter Parker is the most notable exception. Stan Lee (and Marvel in general) made a point of having heroes who were flawed and realistic (in contrast to DC's almost god-like characters). His rare combination of intelligence and powers would make Spider-Man almost unbeatable, but his youth and personal struggles help to balance things.

smile I think Marvel figured out early on that they messed up with his powers, so they really played up his intellect/scientist personality...
