Who are some female singers with low singing ranges? Sure Beyonce is a great singer. Sure Britney isn't THE BEST.
I'm curious though, are there any popular female singer who have a low range? If so who are they.

Lisa Marie Presley - I don´t know if I can call her a singer though. [Edited 4/5/07 12:56pm] "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I'm confused. Is the question who can hit very low notes well, or who has a poor range? Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I think it's supposed to be the former. I think most people would associate "low" with the former and "small" or "narrow" with the latter. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

As to the second part of your question, Dusty Springfield or Rosemary Clooney might qualify. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Are you kidding ??? Beyonce is a GREAT singer. No doubt about it. I agree. I used 2 feel that she wasn't a great singer until I heard her sing "The Closer I Get To You" with Luther Vandross. That performance was amazing. I truly believe that Luther and Nat Adderly Jr. taught her how to really sing. All of the material she recorded after that, you can tell the diffeence in her singing style (especially in the ballads). **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
