George Michael, by far. I find Queen to be among the most overrated artists in modern music history.

I don't think they're bad... I just think they are overblown.

Freddie Mercury. He's probably the best male rock singer in history. A great talent. George Michael is a talented singer to, but he's more soul than rock and as far as male soul singers go there are a lot more better than George Michael (Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson to name a few).

It's hard for an artist to make it into Moonbeam Hall of Fame

Have you never seen his lists?
He can make a Top 200 Albums List with just about 20 different artists nod

The question is not whether you like Queen or not... the question is: who's the better singer, Freddie or George... I'd say Freddie is pretty much untouchable... the guy had an AMAZING voice and tremendous power...

George Michael's not too shabby either. Don't know how his voice is in concert these days?

I think they both have great voices. I'd rather listen to George, so he gets my vote.

eek wow, that statement blows my mind. This coming from someone who thinks Kylie is the cats ass!! ill giggle

Both George and Freddie have stunning voices, but they are different in many ways. I don't think I can pick because I feel they are both equally great.

Maybe because it's a live recording, it just has that little bit more "oomph" in it. I can totally feel the atmosphere as if I'm in the audience.

... I need to get Queen's Live At Wembley album actually. I have the DVD.

you most definately do need to get the album nod I can associate with George though seeing him live his voice is even more amazing... but that only leads me to think how totally awesome Freddies voice would have been like live sigh

I was going to say Freddie, but after thinking about it, I can't really respond to this as I really haven't seen much of George Michael singing live.

If I WERE going to voice an opinion, I'd go with Freddie, because from what I've seen of the two of them, Freddie sang without reservation and George always seemed to be aware of how he presented himself. For me, singing with complete abandon adds something to the end result, so for me, even if George Michael IS, I guess TECHNICALLY, a better singer, Freddie's singing moves me deeper than George's.

If I were going to venture an opinion.
