That so offensive to say..I know Robin didn't intentionally ask to be grouped in the R&B category, so what if he's white...good music is colorless. He is very unique and so unlike justin as far as character are concerned. He's talented just like George Michael, Teena Marie, Hall and Oates, and Christina and yes soulful too. Deal with it. | |

It doesn't sound like old school Funk Prince. It's more reflective of Prince's softer ballads (Adore, Insatiable, Damn U, etc.). OK, I think I may have seen one of his videos as I was surfing TV channels. It was a white guy singing a slow song with a falsetto and playing a guitar. It was simply decent but not really something I would spend money on. I'm anxious to see if there are any uptempo songs on the album. I'm wondering if he's a white version of someone like D'Angelo.....someone who is influenced by Prince but only slow Prince.....which gets on my last nerve because Prince was not a damn balladeer so why do people who are influenced by him end up being one. Oh well, I'll just wait and see what's on it....it's free. | |
