Howard Stern is a friend of Dee's (or was...compliacated). They played a bit of this, I think. Sounds pretty good for a goof. I mean, Christmas albums for the most part are novelty and shouldn't take themseleves seriously...it's kind of hard to tell with Billy's but certaintly Twister Sister has always had a sense of humour but also can play and rock out!

I bought this one last Sunday.....

1. Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town - The Jackson 5
2. Mistletoe And Me, The - Isaac Hayes
3. Who Took The Merry Out Of Christmas - The Staple Singers
4. I'll Be Your Santa Baby - Rufus Thomas
5. Gift Of Giving, The - Bill Withers
6. Happy Holidays - Ohio Players
7. This Christmas - Donny Hathaway
8. Black Christmas - The Emotions
9. I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus - The Impressions
10. Christmas Ain't Christmas, New Years Ain't New Years Without The One You Love - The O'Jays
11. Santa Claus Is Definitely Here To Stay - James Brown
12. Silent Night - Gladys Knight & The Pips

I really enjoyed the Rufus Thomas song, "I'll Be Your Santa Baby". When I heard him singing about having a toy that you could play with for Christmas, I knew it was my kind of Christmas jam. lol

I also was looking for a song by a local group called "Say A Prayer For Christmas" by The Jackson Southernaires but they didn't have it. I recorded it off the radio though on tape and then burned it on CD with a perfect beginning and faded down ending. Couldn't have bought a better copy myself. lol

With my other CDs, now I have all my favorite Christmas songs except for the following which are unfindable.....

*** A Christmas song by Bill Cosby. He basically talks throughout the song in a Barry White type voice saying....."I'll be your Santa Claus baby. Let me by your Santa Claus. It's cooooold out here mama. Open up mama. Let me be your Santa Claus mama.".

*** A song called "Christmas and You". It's a slow R&B Chrismas song recorded by a female in either the 1970s or early 1980s. Nobody seems to remember it except me but they used to play it on the R&B stations every Christmas.
