let's put it this way, if this was a New Edition fan site, the buzz around Ralph's album would be similar to the buzz generated for 3121. It's very good, I was suprised, he has really worked on his singing and the music seems more inspired than the NE album with P.Diddy. The problem is that unlike Prince's new project with Universal, Ralph is singed with a no name record label ( Xzault Media Group) and the promotion has been alwful with the exeption of VH1.

VH1 has a free listening party and music video - http://www.vh1.com/artist...lbum.jhtml

The new issue of Vibe magazine has a really negative review of it.

I love N.E. and when I heard their story about the way they'd been treated in the industry I felt so bad for them and I really want them to succeed. But, NE Heartbreak was in my opinion, the last good album they had. Now, I do want to support them as a group and when they put out their solo stuff too but, if it's not good I'm not buying it. I just listened to Ralphs album and to me it's not good at all, it's actually very boring. sad

I mean, it's nothing ground breaking, but songs like Angel, Homegirl and Man for U are very good in my opinion. I mena, I didn't expect much at all and my expectations were low so I look at it differntly i guess?..
