Mick Jagger Is Not/Was Not Sexy

Taking a break from the half time show, because I was disturbed watching the 78-year-old shaking his metal-reinforced hips. I've never understood the sexual appeal - people seriously thought he was sexy? Somebody, please, break it down for me; show me some pictures from the "sexy" Mick Jagger era. All I know is that the bedazzled black t-shirt and studded belt from Claire's Boutique on a Metamucil-swillin' old man is NOT attractive.

I think this is probably a case of 'either you get it or you don't'.

Sure he's wrinkley, but he's still fit, has all his hair, can rock a LONG show, and is perhaps the most charismatic frontman ever.

Mick's cool.

A Metamucil-swillin old man? That describes the drummer more then it does Mick. I expected that dude to fall off the kit at any second. It's a good thing they only played three songs cause I don't think that man would've lasted much longer.

Mick's cool.

I get him as a front man. No denying that. It's the sexy thing I don't get. lol Money helps, I guess.

You're too funny.

I'm not the one to determine whether he's sexy or not, but for your benefit...

...you'd probably want to go back a few years when they used to say he looked like actress Hayley Mills

When I was looking for a pic using "Mick Jagger looks like" as the search term, these are a few of the comments that came up...

~ beef jerky
~ a stand-in for Don Knotts, circa Three's Company
~ Lily Tomlin after three weeks of crystal meth
~ Angelina Jolie if you hit her about 50 or 60 times in the face with a lead pipe and sliced off her boobs
~ A really ugly old lady
~ Yoda wearing A toupee

... disbelief

Even when you're a Rolling Stone you gets no respect.
Poor Ronnie Woods falls victim to the soundman curse by having the front end of his solo cut off during Start Me Up. rolleyes

I knew this thread was coming.

Mick Jagger is SEXY. Is, was, always will be. biggrin In fact, they're all sexy because they rock hard.

But having seen him live in the last year, I will mention that he is much sexier live than through a TV screen. His charisma flies off the stage. He's very pretty.

And for the record, Mick is 63 years old. An age you will be one day as well, if you're lucky.

I can sorta see it with that one. I guess he's just not my thing. I can see the attraction in many people I don't personally find all that sexy or alluring. It's just not immediately visible to me with him. Anyway, I'm not here to rain on anyone's parade, so I'll just can it. lol

I don't really "get" his look but I can see why people would I guess. His face is interesting, not ordinary. I think it's more about his persona & swagger myself that makes him seem sexy (if you find him sexy at all) than that mug - if he were a clerk in the drug store you'd get your shit & be gone w/o trippin lol

I kinda wish I'd seen the superbowl performance but I couldn't participate in the nonsense of it all... I don't even know who won woot! lol
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

Mick has amazing charisma. He can masterfully command an audience, he's smart, and is the singer for one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever. His look is just part of a whole package of talent.
