Cool, thanks. I have to read this stuff 'cause I picked up a turntable for my mom and when we hooked it up to her stereo the music from the LPs had little to no bass. I don't want to make the same mistake twice. neutral

No, talent can't be bought.
Especially with Michael, Quincy showed him the right direction, but he had the advantage of working with Michael's voice.

possibly, but didn't she had a hit or two in the early 80's? wasn't called catapillar or something???

Centipede.

I've heard many people say that Rebbie is the better singer/vocalist than Latoya and Janet.

Speaking of "Centipede", I heard it a few days ago and I remember how it was a HUGE hit for her. But what's the song about? She sounds all hot and sensual in the song and then Michael screams "CENTEPEDE" I don't understand where the "Centipede" fits in. Somebody help me. headlp
Damn this kooky love affair....

Music wise, Latoya gets alot of hate for having a light, wispy voice.

In my opinion, Latoya needed better producers and songwriters. Also her music was disco, which it died in the early 80's.
