The part where I said you probably going to hell with them just meant that don't you have a judgement day with GOD and there are people and you know it that think they got their stuff together so tight and they know they are going to heaven and you are damned for hell because you ain't going to church every Sunday or you're not with the right denomination. I just wanted to make one last comment. Like I said I am happy for Prince getting his life together with the Lord, but I don't want him to be like that I don't like it when others are.

Perhaps I was a bit harsh with you before. I just get peeved at all the comments I've been hearing lately about Prince's spiritual evolution, not just on the org, but on other sites as well. I've heard people moan and groan, talking about he don't curse no more, his music is going to be clean and boring. If his music sucks, it isn't because he's saved, it is because it sucks. Period. But those same people were calling him a genius pre-JW. Cursing does not make music better - it's just good music with some naughty words thrown in.

I agree with you about people who get on the "God" wagon and look down on everyone else like they're hellbound. It's annoying! I don't know if you remember, but Vanity was like that when she got saved. I do know people who act holier than thou and it's disgusting. Their focus should be on trying to help other people find God. I'm sorry everybody - I know this is kinda off thread topic, but I wanted to respond to smm.

But, smm, you should see it (if you haven't already). I didn't get the feeling he was trying to dis anybody. He did seem a tad bit nervous, though, as did Mel.

Fellow Fans,

I'm surprised you've all missed the obvious. What is Prince's biggest insecurity-- his height. At his age he is still obviously obessed with it. That's why he said down right away and "dissed" Jay. He didn't want the camera to show his shortness when compared to tall man like Leno. Notice the way he sat way forward on the seat so that the camera wouldn't show the proportional scale between him and Mel/Leno?

I don't think he was rude to Mel at all. I think he genuinely wanted to see his movie. I thought he said, ".... want to check out the movie." I wouldn't be surprised if his people asked Mel's people to have him slide over so they couldn't put them in a two-shot together for the same reason of scale.

Further proof:
1. He wears high heels
2. The Letterman "Dolphin" performance when he did that fainting thing before Letterman could shake his hand.
3. Rave video concert with Lenny. He never stood right next to him.

Prince has directed movies and videos, he knows that without scale his dimunitive stature can't be recognized.

i honestly thought it was a dis, but since i have seen it a few times now, i do think it was a combination of being nervous and being self-conscious at the same time. its sad to see, because as much as i look up to him, i am makes me sad to see that he feels insecure about the height he happens to be, but, i guess it just goes to show you, no matter how big and famous we get, or how many people call out our name, we still have to deal with how we see ourselves and our inperfections

I'm sorry too renapisces: I think whenever you get on the subject of religion and politics you strike a nerve, and I like I said I have loved Prince for 20 years now and it doesn't matter to me that he doesn't curse anymore because he is pure genius 100% and I am very proud of him and I am proud of Vanity too. I guess you were kinda right about me when you said I was being judgemental, you know when I said that I didn't care too much for the JW religion. I respect anyone who is religious, me personally I am Baptist, but everyone can look at my denomination and say I don't care for that religion. Anyway, the important thing is if you got your life right with the Lord then everything else will fall right into place. God bless everyone who answered on this topic.
