How funky the NPG's Exodus album was! Is that Prince playing the hell outta that bass on "The Good Life" or was it Sonny? Also, I just noticed that he used the Bob George voice a lot as Tora Tora. I also didn't realize that it has so many unnecessary interludes, though. Maybe I'm rediscovering all of this new shit because I just got my CD back after a few years...long story...don't ask!

It's also kinda funny how at times Sonny kinda sounds like Prince...but maybe it was because Prince was singing a lot of the leads with Sonny. Where the hell is he by the way?

Strangely, this past weekend I've been re-discovering Exodus, too.

'Get Wild' is almost unbearably funky and 'The Exodus Has Begun' has got to be one of Prince/NPG's finest moments - a true epic.

But you're right about there being too many interludes.

I mean... some of the Interludes have interludes!
Nobody needs more than one interlude between songs.
