i think the revolution should reform WITHOUT prince. i think it would be cool funky and probably be a number 1 smash hit!

i really worry about those of you that can't seem to get over the fact that a reunion with the revolution will never happen.

i've no doubts that those same people have a hard time getting over serious relationships... "why can't we get back together? it was so good. why? why? why?"

everyone in the revolution has moved on (including prince.)

it's now time for you to realize this, and do the same.

either be happy with who prince has in the band now, or post about what's wrong with it. suggesting the fix-it would be to get back together with the revolution is a joke.

you're absolutely right, i couldn't possibly be more wrong.

of the around one million threads that have been posted on the internet about the revolution getting back together in one form or another, this was the first thread that was lighthearted -- where the person posting it didn't actually want to see them get back together.

Exactly Controversy 197. Sounds like suomynona has been dumped way too many times and is sooo bitter about it.

Prince really isnt as much today as he was back when he was with the revolution (or even the bands of 87,88 and even 94/95 for that matter). I still enjoy listening to his music, but not as much today (too much preaching for my liking), and live its usually the older hits that every yearns for...BUT I will say...Everyone in the revolution has moved on, and I seriously think Wendy & Lisa would poo poo the idea. I believe they were as musically creative as Prince was (is) and he didnt like that.

Personally I do think them regrouping would do wonders for Prince...but i think the other members Espec. W&L are happy where there at now - Prince on the other hand would prefer to be doing better than he is now.

I hope they do regroup as they complimented each other so well musically and creatively. TIME WILL TELL.

I don't think Prince would feel that the Revolution is as talented as the band he has today and would never step back to that time.

I also don't think that all the band members that have moved on in their own life would let Prince take control again and direct them. They didn't like it then and they would never like it now.
