I just took it to mean: In a few days when the internet gossip etc gets cleared up youll see everything’s fine and there’s nothing to “pray” for (regarding princes wellbeing). It was just another way of saying after moline: don’t worry about what you see in the media; I’m fine
-
That was obviously not true, we know now.

OPINION (!) of a person with job-related background on opioids:

1) long term user with usually good knowledge about familiar substance/mix

2) for whichever reason in accelerated downward spiral, affecting the thoughtfulness concerning suppliers/ change of supplier maybe/ feeding habits

3) no actual scientific knowledge of the composition of the pills/the cutting agents/fillers/lacing with fentanyl -> feeling smart enough to handle it

4) state of denial if he knew it was fentanyl/ accepting the consequences of overdosing again with lethal outcome seemed to be easier than facing the truth/ not being able to take the image-loss

The just Lidocaine batch was maybe a cheap bargain or whatever, suppliers possibly assume that users will mix it anyhow so will have some kind of effect. This is an assumption for my part.

I just can't help thinking that he erroneously could have tasked a young, naive, willing inner circle employee to procure this crap for him...someone not all that knowledgeable in the drug world, that would
freak out if he turned up dead and refuse to talk with law enforcement and quickly lawyer up afterwards. Someone who had access to his cash, someone who would willingly purchase large amounts of enemas, Bayer, Aleve, or anything else asked for,but did not do a very good job with taking care of PP. Makes sense that, in the end, P would have wanted someone ignorantly willing to help him with his addiction, more than a person actually doing the job they were hired for. I could be wrong, of course, but I could definitely see it.

Thanks, peggyon. I would think everyone struggles with this balance to some degree. P often appeared confident in his wisdom. Seems like, combined with his other gifts, that could lead to wonderful things. For example, the seeds of potential he would see in people, and his desire to see those people grow and blossom. Just one area of P's great generosity.

I agree as well, he was clearly a generous spirit in many ways.

I can appreciate that this is how you feel about it but I don't agree with you. Unless one experiences the degree of pain that another does, there is no way this statement can be true. And we know it's not possible to experience another's pain. Serious pain issues make people take action to relieve it. It happens every single day. I don't begrudge anyone for doing whatever it is that they think they need to do to find relief. That choice is between them and their creator.

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

I never said my opinion about P's death because every time I do it I'm taken madly, so I keep it for myself.

.But I would like to say something about everything that has been said so far.

I want to clarify that I read all the posts and respect the opinions of all, even if these people said that a person who takes painkillers for many years are drug addicts, who after many years are no longer 'so shiny, etc. etc., bhe these people I would like to say THANKS

I take painkillers for chronic head pain for 22 years. The level of my pain is so high that no medicine is able to pass it but it only calms it a little. Over the years I have learned to bear it but there are moments that I would bang my head against the wall ..... so I think I can understand very well what P felt.

I'm not a doctor or an expert in the field to comment on things about the composition of the medicines and for this I have only limited to read what you write, and I must say that knowing some things I was also pleased.

But this is a post about P's death and I would like it to stay that way, avoid competing to those who know more about it, I do not want this post (which is also last) to be closed.

Thank you and sorry for the interruption.

It was so hot in PP that is why they thought P was still warm, The actually had to go around and turn down the heat.

Thanks to all for adding the support material regarding Lidocaine.
My novice impression was that it was a benign cutting agent.

It was explained a while back. Prince said it because Duran Duran, upon hearing about the Moline incident, dedicated Save a Prayer to Prince during a concert, wishing him a speed recovery or something like thart. There is a video of it on YT.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbpiYn_CEPE

Ironically they ended up singing it a few days later, as a real tribute upon his death.

You see, that is why I responded in an earlier post that Moline's overdose, mirrors PP overdose, but does not equate to Dr. Schulenberg's toxicology test( which is all hydrocodone). But you have to understand the amount of hydrocodone per its metabolic rate in a (7) day period. He is regulating usage/ type/ amount and event. If you look at the comments about his moods before, during and after his show , you will see a stark change in it( according to the witnesses). Mood/moment= usage and type. This is atypical behavior.

[Edited 6/28/18 18:39pm]

Not true.

Dr S test showed hydrocodone and hydromorphone.

[Edited 6/28/18 21:41pm]

Correct...when is this elephant in the room going to quit being ignored??? Or is it that only about 3 of us have actually MADE the connection(?)

HydroMORPHONE is chemically DILAUDID, which was not found anywhere in the search.

Menes said:

Let's just keep in mind a few things..

That Prince was not in unbearable pain to speak of as recorded by Dr. Schulenberg.

There are no significant heatlh/terminal issues.

He is still dosing/feeding (albeit) more selectively for (7) days after Moline .

That Prince had hydrocodone in his system when visiting Dr.Schulenberg. Even if he had hydrocodone in his system in Moline, it would have already metabolized. This tells me that this is a recent feeding.

The pills that he is dosing from are located @ PP after the Moline incident.

The pills are separated and batched according to type and usage.

The Hydrocodone pills do not contain an antagonist( an anti withdrawal agent) .

The fentanyl batches contains and anti withdrawal agent, specifically, lidocaine. There are no pure fentanyl pills found(?). There are pills that contain only lidocaine/hydrcodone.

Each pill is accounted for/ tested by a scientist . Results show that the contents and shape are generally consistent in each batch.

That lidcoaine is not generally used as a cutting agent by "street pharma" standards.

That Prince understood that he was lying to both doctors when prompted for a response about what he was taking.

That Prince was "mixing" and thereby regulating usage.

That Prince was already going thru withdrawals while driving home with Kirk. (this quantifies when he may have last fed on the hydro).

That Prince opted to take fentanyl in large doses instead of more hydrocodone that night.

Come On Precioux, lol I've been saying this for over a year when LR kept stealing my line that a man who had his underpants custom made would surely have his drugs made to order. Really, folks.....for almost four decades he lived a life with all the perks big money could secure...do you really think he was going to entrust his drugs/drug habit/ ability to keep performing/ ability to look like 'Prince' to the casual observer to the dark web or a casual score from a stranger????? He was wired in big time to both his habit and how he wanted to feed his habit. NO ONE ever called Prince stupid...maybe arrogant...but not dumb..

Just curious- did we ever find out what the contents of the stash of powdery substance actually was??? And no, I'm NOT being facetious.

Rich people use street drugs all the time. It’s not that huge of a mystery. - They use it because getting what they want or need from a doctor is more difficult than getting it from a trusted black market supplier. There are all kinds of black market sources available to (and specifically geared toward) people like prince. - I think the idea that illegal drugs are some crapshoot that people are terrified of is what people who don’t use illegal drugs (like me) might think. - The theory that Prince was partnering with a chemistry lab to conconct bespoke fake Vicodin is absurd. Where would a lab capable and interested in this kind of fine tuned work be located exactly? Illicit drug manufacturers are dealing in bulk and any kind of illicit lab sophisticated enough to do custom work like that would hardly find it worth their while financielly, no matter what prince paid them. They’re in business to make thousands or millions of pills at as high a profit margin as possible, by using cheap ingredients and fillers (ie fentanyl and lidocaine). This is not “sophisticated chemistry” in action, folks. - The idea is laughable and so is the “scientific discussion” that this thread has drifted into. leech1 said:

Shortly after he died, I also wondered why he used street drugs for the same reason you indicated, but then the longer I thought about this, it made sense in how P. seemed to handle his personal life that as much as possible must remain private. I think he couldn’t be sure he could trust any doctor or the doctor’s staff to keep this private.

I am not saying I feel that this thought process makes sense to me because I don’t think the “crap shoot” of street drugs is acceptable especially when you have the means to pay for pharmaceutical grade drugs.

this idea about "custom-made drugs" is predicated mostly on Menes' "scientific" info about the use of lidocaine, specific -- and he's just incorrect about that.

-

I'm open to the idea of "bespoke pills" (although I can't find any documentation about this kind of thing occuring -- what sort of lab would do this custom work, do you think, and at what price?) but let's not base it on incorrect info about how certain drugs work. (See the posts above out lidocaine actually not being an opioid antagonist, not being a opioid-withdrawal agent, and in fact not being useful at all when ingested orally). He's wasn't limited to getting drugs from just the dark web or a stranger.

-

The idea that only "stupid people" use (non-bespoke) black-market drugs... well, i'm just not seeing that. PLENTY of people of all stripes use regular black-market drugs -- particularly if they come from a source they trust (even if that trust, at the end, is erroneous). That includes many, many rich people of all stripes (including plenty of super-rich rock stars).
