He was still jumping off pianos when he left Mayte, and he looked great and performed with tons of energy during his time with Manuela. The outward signs were not there at that point. As it's been stated before, you cannot help someone who does not want to be helped and/or won't confide in you. If anyone is to be blamed it would be the few people closest to him in the last couple years. They waited too long to intervene.

Easy there PennyP....nobody's praising her. I have no idea what her personal relationship or marriage was like with Prince - and news flash - neither do you!! It's so easy to read divorce docs and tabloid fodder and make judgements; however, the reality is we didn't know Prince or Manuela personally, nor were we able to be a "fly on the wall" during their marriage to know the things that she may have gone through with him. Regarding Prince's first marriage - sorry, but the demise of that marriage is not Manuela's fault. I don't mind the reference to Charlie Sheen. her hands were tied at that point. For a second, it seems like she was trying to do the right thing..(out him on his addiction in the hopes of getting help but then she chickened out and removed the tweet.) As for the money issues, lets hear the whole story first. It sounds shady but keep this in mind. She knew he had an addiction--why wouldn't she have been able to use it as a blackmail and get half of his fortune or even 1/5 of it in the divorce settlement. She asked for a lot of money but not the crazy amounts that people like Paul McCartney's ex wife Heather Mills attempted (she tried to get 125 million dollars and she had no proof on Paul. She settled eventually for 24 million after a big fight).42, 000 a month is about a half a million a year. That's alot of money to us. To Prince, its considerably less. Its all relative. His Turks and Caicos home is up for sale right now for 24 times that amount and he barely spent time there.

I saw Omar in person(up close) he seems like a nice guy. I think he kinda resembles Prince.
