To help out the people thinking about downloading the zip files that were released by the police.

Electronic_Records_1.zip contains Squad_Video. As far as I can tell, this is the dashcam footage of police that responded to the 911 call on 4/21/2016. Nothing of value.

Electronic_Records_3.zip contains graphic video footage of the death scene and no new information of value. AVOID!

Yeah, I saw a little more of Electronic_Records_3 than I expected when I first downloaded it, not knowing what was stored where and thanks to the thumbnails auto-generated by my computer of the video contents.

I just try to see it as a document of a time of life we will all obseve and go through ourselves at some point. I don't like that it happened, I think it was a horrible needless event that he shouldn't have had to go through, etc... but at least it happened in his home in what I assume was a fairly painless way.

Honestly, Prince's corpse video is a really touchy subject.

I'm in no position to tell people what to do, but it has been rightly said,

I can't see them being revelatory. The persons who are used to see such videos are brave professionals, and even they must have some hard times looking.

I was a Paramedic for years. I have seen many ODs and wanted to see what could be told from the body and the Report filed by the medics. I will say that there were no medicinal patches on his body. The "patches" and "blue-looking tape" were just leads to attach to the heart monitor to assess heart activity. Nothing more. Medics don't remove them.

If I had to guess, I'm guessing that the dumbass that took the video didn't think about the idea that his footage would have to be publicly released and that there's nothing in the law they could use to block its release like they could with the autopsy photos/tox reports/Tyka's statement. That or the cops just messed up and didn't realize that video of the body was included.

I'm pretty sure I read that the records were released based on the law in Minnesota when a case is closed with no charges pending. The sheriff's department was following the law. Nothing more. The news agencies and others are the one's with the power to choose not to show them.

In fairness, it wasn't established, only alleged. And if the DA felt there was enough evidence to support a case against him, he would've prosecuted. Evidently, they concluded there was insufficient evidence. That doesn't speak to Kirk's innocence or guilt. I have no idea about the house or his level of cooperation.

Was it? Omarr Baker told police that Manuela said Kirk was shredding documents. I haven't finished downloading everything yet, so I'm not sure.

Prince on that surveillance video is someone walking without any signs of 'pain', the cane is not with him he is moving very smoothly. I think back to a recent article and interview with Lisa Coleman. Her saying the last time she saw Prince she was thinking he had "given up" and something in his eyes was not there. I took alot from that, think about things Morris Day and Mayte also said, Morris saying he had a conversation with him in January, Mayte hearing he was not doing "well". This is why I still am saying something else was going on inside this man, hearing Judith talking about Prince seeming depressed or out of it, "Maybe I have done everything on this earth" and also his sister giving the same statement in reference to her conversations with him. This is more and more sounding like someone that is slowly breaking down, physically and that leads to many other things. I mean If you are Prince and your life and everyday is music and playing and all of sudden it seems you just cannot do it anymore, where does that leave you. This is not a man who had other things to do. But you can look at PRINCE videos and performances in the final couple of years, look at his eyes it is alot different then the Prince a few years earlier touring Welcome 2 America, there was something going on during that time. But again it is something we will never know for sure.

It was also written in a document on previous (pt 5) thread that Mani tried talking with Larry about Prince using pills and Larry blew her off. I guess I'm just saying if that is true, this is something that had been going on longer than any of us have thought/believed
