Good question.

I'm of two minds on this one, because I'm a Gemini like Prince. One says that you spend your days as a spirit, following your loved ones and their descendants on this Earth. The other mind says that you see all of your previous ancestors and God and you spend your time traveling through the universe visiting other planets and other human/aliens living. Maybe a combination of both.

I sometimes do feel like my body is just a holding tank for my conscience. Hopefully, there's no end to existence.

ya, no way this plane is all there is, it's a mystery, the people that don't or can't accept mystery are the first to say "nope, no god, no afterlife, no nothing". Can't even trust a person who thinks like that.

Gotta be open minded. God must really be mindblowing, if He/She/It waits until we're dead to reveal Him/Her/It self.

wasn't always that way and isn't always that way now. People still have spiritual things happen all the time, that can't be explained.

Who says God Waits until we are dead to reveal himself...?

There are MANY many people who have had personal interactions with God

but since they cant be proven others dont believe them

Number ONE:

God cannot be understood with the mind..in fact the MIND gets in the way

Number TWO: just because you cant see something doesnt mean it doesnt exist..

Oxygen for example...we all use it, take it forgranted, but one has to have the correct instruments

in order to prove its existance ..

we will NEVER be able to SEE Oxygen, yet we are all dependant on it

Same applies to GOD,

NUMBER THREE:

The language used to communicate with God can neither be written or spoken...

It is felt

notwithstanding all people with delusions about a connection with some "god", when you die, your body starts decomposing, you, as a sentient being, no longer exist and you live on in the minds of people you touched.

.

Luckily, in the case of Prince, he touched a whole lot of people and will have an influence on the world for a long time to come.

He was cremated and lived on spiritually through the art and the music he left us.

Everything is energy and only temporarily inhabits a form of some kind. Some of his energy and spirit lives on in his music but as to what happened to "Prince", outside of some kind of belief or opinion, it's a mystery.

As one who professed a very real faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour Prince is now united in Spirit with God and will eventually be ressurected in bodily form when the New Earth is created.

Yes, this. Prince expressed a firm belief in Christ and his life reflected that change in later years. That being said, he is asleep in his grave awaiting the resurrection. Hence the term R.I.P. (Rest In Peace). John 5:28-29: "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth - those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemenation."

Purgatory, then got his ass booted down to hell for drug abuse and singing songs about sex, adultery, fornication and other sins.

.

That was the Catholic version, my rationalist/evolutionist explanation - he was reborn first as a Chinese baby, but die to rampant female infanticide, died within seconds of birth, then reborn either as a slug or a pineapple plant.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

You can't say that consciousness ceases to exist after death. Plenty of people who have been declared clinically dead would disagree with you. Bottom line is this, mankind doesn't know shit about anything, and the only way to truly know what happens after death is to die and stay dead. Don't worry though, you will all have your chance to find out someday. razz
