Doesn't sound like you're having a fun time neutral

I don't go around chatting shite about a woman who is grieving her brother, so I'd say I'm having a better time of it than you.

Not judging by your posts on the other thread. I think you probably need to take a few long walks to get out of your head a bit. And you're speculating again about tyka. What is known is that certain nelsons aren't talking to her.

Again, you've got time talking about what I said on that thread. Spare me the personal assumptions. How rich of u 2 speak on speculation. Go find someone else 2 give u some attention. Child.
"We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15

I agree. I didn't see the tweet but in a perfect world his legacy should continue online and expand to new horizons that transcend personal profit. This man was a genius and he needs to be celebrated. Daily.

I would assume it's Tyka...Prince often tweeted himself, and you could tell when it was someone else - I dont even think its that hard to tell the difference - its not like they were trying to fool anyone.

I must have been sleeping though - Im glad - I dont need that kind of freak out. sad

Have to say I agree with you. I didn't find it offensive at all. I'm also sad that Luxlove did remove them from here. I wouldn't have seen them if they hadn't posted the screenshot so a big thank you from me smile

I can see how this would be very shocking to y'all. Maybe the person in charge of tweeting for the estate could introduce themselves and direct us to the new twitter account.

I'm with you two. There's so many social media accounts for celebrities that have passed on so i don't understand why P shouldn't have active accounts. Some of the stuff I've read on here and twitter makes me think some want him to be forgotten by the general public so they can "keep him to themselves".

I listened to Dr Funk's latest podcast today and he said that the Estate want to use P's twitter account to send out info on the tribute concert. His view was that they should have given a heads up to the fans first before using his account. My view is that I think his twitter account should be left alone and just leave it as it was and create another account or use some other method to send out messages to us.

I'm pretty sure someone else was always tweeting for him. They might have been his words but I'd be shocked if he was actually the one posting. A lot of famous people and politicians have others posting to their Twitter account for them. But this was just not cool at all and I'm so glad someone realized it and deleted it.

I suppose though it's possible the account was hacked and it wasn't the family that posted this. We don't know.

It's common knowledge lots of celebrities have someone who does all their social media account, usually a personal assistant for example.

So I wonder if he knows this or is just guessing. A lot of people assumed the same thing.

Could be a guess, but to me the way how he said it, it came across as if he knew this is something they wanted to do.

Dr. Funkenberry said it was Prince posting most of the time but others would occasionally, for pictures or something.

They should post info on where to follow for further information and thats it. Make a Paisely Park Museum twitter account or something like that - post it on princes twitter - then lock his twitter for posterity.

sad sigh.

A friend just passed this along to me:

UNLESS P's social media accounts are kept active, the systems could delete them. There needs to be an agreement with all social media to archive them (OR to archive them on a permanent P site). Someone who can legitimately represent Prince (family, Londell, Bremer, etc....) needs to take care of this so the accounts isn't/aren't deleted. See this article: http://www.theatlantic.co...um/489776/

Amy Winehouse is still up there under @amyjademermaid. That's her actual account, as opposed to @amywinehouse which is her estate promoting her legacy. Prince's family should sort out something similar.

I really doubt Twitter would delete Prince's account automatically/irretrievably one day. Surely they have something in place for when a historically significant person passes. I think the Library of Congress archives all of Twitter as well.

I agree. Call it Prince Official or something and put a link to it on his personal Twitter and then leave his page as a memorial.

nod All of his social media accounts should be frozen and new ones created if the estate/family/administrators want to communicate information.
