As for me, I'm just enjoying the pics/gifs and being able to talk about P with people who get my obsession and don't knock me for it. I think I've come to grips with his passing, but will always mourn the loss of what could have come (because we ALL KNOW there was so much more there) while looking forward to what will hopefully be released from the vault. He's still on constant rotation in my iPod.

I think I've moved from the constant sadness to just being happy that I was here at the same time as the most prolific, gifted artist EVER, and enjoying all the gifts he has left us.

I agree with all that's been said on this tonight, this thread has really helped so many of us cope, be lifted up, and find some solace amongst friends. I still need this if only to talk and share the fun and love for Prince along with my favourite purple family. I couldn't help but think of this moment from Labyrinth when I read through Mumio's message and the various responses.

Hey All! I'm back!! My car needed service, my pc needed service (thinking of upgrading to an Apple) and I am feeling better from being....sick from movie popcorn!

I'm feeling so much better that I dreamed of doing exactly this to our man last night! May I say - he truly enjoyed every delayed, torturous little bit!!

I think that all of the pictures threads we've made have made it possible for many people to come to grips and deal with the loss of our beautiful Prince. People are slowly moving away from these pic threads, others are just starting to enjoy what we've been doing here. Speaking for myself I am doing the same, although I can't stay away completely and will come back and look at our gorgeous man, but won't really be participating so much anymore.

I know some will think people leaving is bad, but really it's not...it's the complete opposite, it's WONDERFUL that people have been able to come here to rest and heal and are finally able to make peace with his death. I have my on and off days, but it's better than it was. I'll never understand why he left us and never be able to accept more than I have to, but the best I can hope for is to learn to live with this new reality. I hope that others here who are struggling with this will also be able to come to that place too and heal, we ALL need to do this eventually and accept for our own sanity. Some people are moving on with their lives is true and I believe (Like Mumio) that because of these awesome threads people are coming to terms. I've also noticed a lot of photos that are being posted here and showing up on Pintrest with mention of being found on prince.org! I know I will keep showing up regularly because I am in love with this awesome group of people, P. brought together! Barring car trouble, pc trouble, being mugged, shot or assaulted in L.A.....I plan to make this my internet home. I don't even check FB anymore!

To the newbies, welcome - make yourself at home and be ware, we do talk openly and provocatively...to the established crew, let's keep it real, bask in the the purple love and keep it up!
