Nope.TMZ never reported that Prince had AIDS.It was the sleazy, unreliable National Enquirer who reported that lie.

It makes sense. It's the one disease that carries a stigma to this day. I suspect that if Prince had cancer or some other terminal illness, there wouldn't be this wall of secrecy surrounding His death. I think someone knew and it leaked out. That blind item regarding a major black celebrity having AIDS came out a week or two before Prince passed away. This same publication put out a blind item about an A-list Hollywood actor being HIV positive, which turned out to be Charlie Sheen. As far as I know, no black celebrity to date has surfaced with AIDS.

I'm sure the family is hoping Prince's doctor isn't charged, because if he is shit is going to come out, gag order or no gag order. They are probably OK with his death being classified as a drug overdose. They're probably also cool with people believing he suffered extreme joint and hip pain and that's why he was taking pain meds.

No one Prince's camp have ever denied the AIDS story. They haven't gone after the Observer or the Enquirer. They can't because they'll have to prove Prince didn't have AIDS and I don't think they can do that.

The autopsy report the public sees is not the full report. It does not show all of his health issues. I do not know how many times this has been discussed on this board. Maybe it should be made a sticky.

Right now there is a story on the gossip site that another black celebrity has HIV. I will not say who the Gossip sites are actually saying who this is but it appears that every month or so some celebrity will be dying of AIDS.

How in the hell is someone with AIDS performing, traveling, and interacting with people? People with full blown AIDS are in the hospital with tubes hanging out of them. Why did he not make a will if he had AIDS? Lala Escaza who some choreography worked for him and said on her Tweeter he did not have AIDS and people did not know the real story so you have at least one person telling you it is bull.

He had been to see his doctor on April 7th and again the day before he died and was awaiting test results. How many doctor visits does it take to find out you have AIDS or are HIV positive?

Kirk Johnson told the police Prince had been in the hospital once in 2014 and 2015 for treatment but he did not know for what. Do people go for treatments for AIDS? People do

go to treatment for drugs (rehab) and cancer.

When you have HIV or AIDS you have to disclose your sex partners or you can go to jail. Dude was married twice and how many lovers just over the last 20 years. Where are the lawsuits? Where are the woman who would be screaming in anger not boo hooing at is memorial. He had girlfriends, jump-offs, and ex-wives crying their eyes out would they be doing that if he may have given them AIDS or made them HIV positive.

He also signed a contract with the promoter of the Atlanta shows to do nine more shows, ordered a 20k guitar and matching bass. Wanted to put the Atlanta show out to sell. Saved a date to play at the new stadium, sent additional music to Tidal, and wanted to turn Paisley Park into a museum.

He had plans for the future and this is not something someone who has full blown AIDS is going to be doing.

If you want to believe he was HIV positive I could go along with that. I could even see him having some other sexuality transmitted disease like Hepatitis which can kill you but just do not see a person getting around the way he was with full blown AIDS.

Right now it appears that the investigation is looking into the U-47700 drug that one newsource is saying was found in his system which is not illegal in the United States but people have been dying from it because Fentanyl has been placed in the pills. This would kind of rule out suicide if it took the Fentanyl unknowingly and the investigation would now be a murder investigation. At this point we are not hearing anything official about the investigation and have yet to hear anything credible about AIDS and tabloids are not credible I mean even TMZ has not gone with the AIDS angle.

The stupid Santa Monica Observer even retracted the AIDS story since they claim they have his DNA. eek

If he wanted the world or his die hard fans to know, he would've told you when he was alive. He didn't. That should be a hint. He lived his life the same way. He told you what he wanted you to know. The rest was HIS business. Clammoring for every dirty detail of his private life/death is not going to bring him back or change anything.

I had mentioned once before that a report stating someone did or did not have HIV/AIDS would be entirely dependent upon when the dna sample was collected. Without knowing that specifically, the statement means nothing because the sample could have been collected prior to the illness.

Well it means nothing to me because they never explain were this sample came from and the leave out that the court is not going to use it. Any sample would have go throught the Ohio lab. In addtion, this person may have missed the deadline to file a claim and if this person is a part of some settlement or trust this procedure could be null and void.

What SMO is reporting to me is just a means to get clicks.

What do you think about my other points in particular the lack of lawsuits or people screaming they were exposed to AIDS? Why are woman he was involved with (even recent one like Andy Allow ) boo hooing and crying about him? I know the tabloids in the weeks after his death were scrambling to get dirt and we just are not hearing anything at all. I know P had a tight circle around him but exposing someone to AIDS would put an end to that circle with the quickness.

I'd read somewhere, but did not pursue defamation law for more info, that someone who has died can't sue. I think a few lawyers post here so maybe one of them can clear that up. In regard to your other comments, we'd heard that Prince himself said he'd been celibate for a number of years and I believe that to be true since it certainly fits in with his JW beliefs. I also don't believe he was having as many sexual encounters as many believe he was and that a good number of the muses and proteges were friends and that's it. It's something else I haven't pursued. They all loved him and seemed to have high regard, but that isn't really indicative of anything more than a good friendship. In regard to anything going on behind the scenes...well, who knows about that?

Estates cannot sue on behalf of the dead for defamation however, anyone who thinks that Prince exposed them to AIDS can sue the estate not to mention going to the media. I do not think they would be successful but they can sue as people have sued estates due to believing exposed they were exposed to AIDS in past cases.

I do not remember him saying he was celibate for several years in fact the first time he mentioned it was in the Rolling Stone article that was done in 2014 and not published until after his death. In that interview he said he tried to be celibate but sometimes fell short and we have to wonder if some of this celibate business had something to do with the pain medication he was taking. In the same Rolling Stone article he also discussed the AIDS epidemic in the black community don’t you think it would be strange for him to bring this up in the interview if he had AIDS and wanted to keep it a secret. He also said on the Arsenio Hall show he was spoken for when one of the audience members asked if he was taken.

I also find it hard to believe that he was wearing a shirt with Andy’s face on it and really having her on stage doing nothing at times but drawing to mean that they were just friends. I never thought he was involved with all of this protégées but over the years we have had protégées come out and say they were involved with him so we know that he was more than friends with quite a lot of them.

I also do not see a person making so many plans for the coming months if they AIDS. I could see someone making plans for the coming month if they had Cancer or organ failure as you are usually given a time frame to live or the possibility of medical treatment to extend your life. I only say organ failure because paid meds can cause organ failure.

I just do not see him getting around the way that he was with AIDS.

If you do a search here on the org you should find a few older posts talking about the celibacy claims.

I'm going to have to say that you and I see things differently in regard to your other points above...and there's nothing wrong with that. I only responded to you because you seemed to want to talk a bit more about these things and I was cool with that. I don't agree with your other points though. Just you and I having different ideas about these subjects smile

This is the problem with trying to give meaning to even the smallest clues. He didn't say he was spoken for on Arsenio from what I remember, merely that he wasn't available for this woman to date. It was a joke overall, he was breaking up with her on behalf of her boyfriend. Don't read too much into it.

He said that he was celibate and had been for years - or was at least doing his best to be. I am not going to guess what he meant by that and I really don't want to know, but celibacy means abstaining from any type of sex. With or without a partner. So you can't use this to conclude that he was seeing anyone in particular. Only that he struggled a bit with this as could be expected. No shame in that. He did his best with whatever challenges he faced, I'm sure.

I honestly think he wasn't nearly as busy with the ladies maybe even earlier on as his image. But most no doubt fell for him and hoped for more. I see him as someone who could have many friends of the opposite sex just because he liked hanging out with women.

Well look at that Bunsterdk, once again you and I see eye to eye lol

That man had such a big womanizer image to maintain and he did so over his entire career. Allowing everyone (the public, his fans, etc...) to think whatever they wanted to think about all those friendships had to play a big part in all of it. Lol, we all expected it from him right? Prince, without a bevy of beauties hanging around? Perish the thought! lol

Since I've always gotten along with men much better than women and know others who get along with the other sex well, your last sentence is true imo.

// There are big ass clues and I have pointed them out. Yet know one wants to address them. Where I come from spoken for means " I am seeing someone" I think you also fail to acknowledge that pain pills can cause impotency and that their are a lot of things you can do without penetration if you listen to a lot of his lyrics from the last 10 years their are plenty of lyrics about oral sex and self pleasuring. I do not believe he flew 20 something women up to Paisly Park for no reason then just to hang out. Remember last year when his Facebook page was hacked one of the things he was of accused of was sitting around on his computers trying to hook up with celebs. To me being social, being productive with music, touring and plaint ropy is not the behavior of someone with AIDS. Who makes plans to go to a rehab/pain management center when they are dying of AIDS. He had medical issues but I believe the stituation became severe in his final days and I think those test results Dr. S was bringing was going to be bad news.

The stupid Santa Monica Observer even retracted the AIDS story since they claim they have his DNA. eek

I had mentioned once before that a report stating someone did or did not have HIV/AIDS would be entirely dependent upon when the dna sample was collected. Without knowing that specifically, the statement means nothing because the sample could have been collected prior to the illness.

What are you talking about? The DNA sample was collected at the time of the autopsy, precisely in case of claims on his estate. I remember reading that a DNA sample was requested around that time. Why would they collect a DNA sample years before..for what reason? Plus, don't you know that HIV has a long incubation period before you develop full blown AIDS , even longer if you take the right medication. So if Prince had full blown AIDS and was tested years prior the likelihood is that the HIV virus would have shown up in his blood.

Proof when Princes sample was collected

Prince could've been in the early stages of AIDS. His tour schedule was also very sporadic for P&M shows. He do a show and then there'd be weeks between shows. The Atlanta cancellations may have been a sign that he shouldn't have been touring in the first place. Remember he died twice after doing those final two Atlanta shows. He may have been over medicating himself with pain killers to try to keep the tour going. Also, the problems he had taking in foods that the chef mentioned and that Dr. Drew spoke about is very concerning. People with AIDS develop a fungus in their mouth and esophagus which makes it difficult to swallow. Lastly, someone mentioned where are the lawsuits from women he may have slept with over the last decade or so. Maybe he wasn't sleeping with any of them. Maybe you they were just to keep up his pimp/player image. In retrospect, these women appeared to be his friends rather than his lovers. To this day, when they speak of him, they speak of him like a best friend. He could've also used condoms if he did sleep with them. Magic Johnson is HIV positive and I've never heard of any clams made against him by women either.

Why would Prince have planned to take the piano and mic tour to Europe if he had developed AIDS? He only cancelled because of the attacks in Paris.

We are talking about two different dna samples. You are talking about the one obtained during the autopsy. I am talking about the dna that may have been used by that Santa Monica lab on the unknown 30-something year old Midwestern man who contacted Heir Finders who may be an heir. Without going into all the detail I've mentioned elsewhere on the org, you can obtain DNA from almost anything: hair caught in a hairbrush, dental floss, a used bandaid, a drinking cup, a toothbrush, and so on and so on. We all leave our dna all over the place. It came up because supposedly this man couldn't have been tested against the autopsy dna at an unauthorized lab but they said he came up as a 99% match. But no one knows if his mother may have gotten some when Prince (allegedly) spent time with her from any of the things I mentioned above. If he wants to file the article said he will have to be tested per protocol and file his claim...believe they said by September. Re the HIV/AIDS thing: if he didn't have it at the time the dna (non-autopsy) was obtained, then it wouldn't show he had the disease. And finally...yes, I'm well aware of all the other info you stated.

We have addressed the points you are making. We just don't agree with you. cool

You did not address any of these points at all.

I just do not see him getting around the way that he was with AIDS.

( Of couses he never had sex with any of them even his wives eek )

--------

He also signed a contract with the promoter of the Atlanta shows to do nine more shows, ordered a 20k guitar and matching bass. Wanted to put the Atlanta show out to sell. Saved a date to play at the new stadium, sent additional music to Tidal, and wanted to turn Paisley Park into a museum.

---

People with full blown AIDS are in the hospital with tubes hanging out of them. Why did he not make a will if he had AIDS?

------

Not my question but a good one. Why would Prince have planned to take the piano and mic tour to Europe if he had developed AIDS? He only cancelled because of the attacks in Paris.

---

I am not saying he was not ill as it was reported that he was seeing Dr. S on an outpatient basis for withdrawals.( this has been reported in the media numerous times ) All of the issues with weight loss, upset stomach and dyhedration can come from pain pill withdrawals. These withdrawals can go on for as long as 6 months to a year.

What is wacky is they officially found paid meds in system strong enough to kill an elephant and some of you want to make it about AIDS even ignoring the sythetic drugs that was reportly found in his system. eek

I do try to but it's very difficult when someone asks about something off topic. It then becomes a matter of: do I respond with an answer? or do I not respond and look like I am avoiding the question? Sorry if it bothers you but that's how a lot of the posts go it seems. I'll also point out that this particular thread derailed originally when someone asked about the Will Smith call, not this particular subject.

All I am going to say is Ha, Ha, and Ha. If he had early stage AIDS WTF is that anyway. Why was he planning nine more shows and had contacted the Vickings about doing a show in the new stadium in August.

You can also have throat and stomach problems from vomiting and constipation from pain pills.

I related my experience with Percocets on another topic I can tell you first hand these pills wreak havoc on your digestive system.

Because no one on this board thinks that there is anything weird about P's last day on this earth.

How a person can be desribed has deathly ill but leave Paisley Park and not come back until 8:00pm

I have not seen anything that said it was Kirk that dropped him off but we did read about the Doctor's son coming in at night and not showing up at PP until the next morning. If he was deathly ill how come he did not meet the son that night?

Who was going to give P the meds that the son brought? If P needed these meds how come he did not go down to Hazelton rehab which he could have walked to after all he took his sister to that rehab.

A lot of unanswered questions with no one saying anything official.

^^^ if he had any major illness or health condition it would have been listed in the autopsy report, it was was not. End of.

1st, I'm not one to believe what is posted in the likes of the National Enquirer, but let's assume that Prince had HIV/AIDS (which I don't think so), but the actual cause of death was the Fentanyl OD. Since it was the Fentanyl that killed him and not the HIV, the autopsy report will only list the Fentanyl as the cause of death. If he had cancer or anything else, it would appear on the complete report, but not the one that the public sees. So, just because it's not on the report does mean that he did not have something else.

Besides, if he had HIV, he could take the meds and live a normal life these days. It's not the death sentence that it once was.
