DJ set for a tribute party? A couple of us in SE Missouri are thinking about doing a small scale tribute party to celebrate his music and enjoy time with other Prince fans. I say small scale because in our rural area I'm not sure how many are big enough fans to come out.
However, I will be doing the music (I do a little DJing on the side) and wanted to get an idea of music that is a must on the list? Of course I have all my favorites but from those of you that are club goers or party people, what are the songs that must be on the list to get folks on the dance floor? I've got ALL his music so not worried about not having something, just want to make sure the playlist keeps the party going. Would also be interested in some of these newer DJ mixes/remixes if you have any suggestions (think Purple Medly)......thanks! | |
