If / when information is provided, you may think you will feel better or will find closure. You will not. You will have more questions, and continue to seek closure, continuing the carasoul of the stages of grief.

The only way to make the pain go away is to accept and understand there is nothing you can do about P's death.

I already accept and understand there is nothing I can do about P's passing.

It may not matter what the cause was to you.

But for me, it does.

It matters to me because it will provide answers, not more questions.

It matters to me because it will help provide closure for me.

It's not going to change how I view Prince.

I can accept whatever it was that led to his untimely passing.

But I completely disagree with you.

I will have less questions and will be able to complete my grieving knowing how and what he died from.

It appears to me you don't want to know why or how he died.

I respect that.

But please don't try to tell me what I will feel if the honest truth was revealed.

Quite the contrary, I would respect his family even more so for not being afraid of judgment, whatever the cause may be.

This thread is not about Prince and his family owing us anything, let alone the details of his death.

A petition is a written request, typically signed by many people, appealing to authority with respect to a particular cause.

Again, this is a petition (a respectful request signed by many people) appealing to Prince’s family (authority) for the truth about Prince’s death (the particular cause) including the toxicology report and the autopsy report.

I would like to know because the story as it stands makes literally no sense. The parts that would make leaving someone alone to die in a house with the same meds he nearly died from 3 nights previously are probably the parts we will never find out. So it's just blatant curiosity that makes me want to know, I admit it. No one owes me a thing...

You didn't, and I never said you did. I was responding to someone else who said that, though (which, since I quoted them directly, should have been obvious).

We have debated many, many ideas - and we only have a vague idea of what happened to Prince. It is possible that we are completely wrong. I am not trying to be intrusive. And I respect what his family is going through. But, because of my respect for Prince, I want to make sure that somebody didn't "knock him off", or something else like that.

I believe that Prince would help someone else in his situation, if possible. Although his death is terrible, at least let's not let him die in vain.
