No way. And I'm kind of glad that Prince didn't have any kids for their sake as all of us would be looking for Prince in them instead of letting them be themselves and their own person.

I find threads on here about Prince's GFs and their looks weird just like stuff about his relatives, Prince showed how much fashion can augment how you look. he was a fit & slim guy but he had interesting proportions and a lot of people who aren't fans are disparaging about that. I see him as a prime example of style making people look amazing when they get it right, yes he was better than average looking but his fashion made him look amazing .

as for Prince having kids and expectations on em, yeah I look at the group 3T, MJ's nephews,they had some success and they can really sing, there is so much that is environment though and their dad wasn't abusive with his showbiz push and as a result they barely move when performing and their pop now says ' you are jacksons, why aren't you moving' and two of them are overweight despite performing. the potential is there but the conditions have to be right as well, there was a post on here about Prince being left with the piano in the lonely house when his dad walked out and how he then played the hell out of it. stuff like that makes a person

They may have 25% of the genes, but the conditions of their upbringing are entirely different. Even if Prince did have a kid, that grew with him in MN, then the child would still not have had the drive, the perseverance and OCD about music that Prince had. Look at other great rockstar children, they usually don't even come close to the parent in terms of achievement.

Musical skill is not genetic.

I agree, the recipe has to be right. He was very driven to prove himself and to keep proving it over and over again.

Time will tell. This is the type of pressure and expectation that I wish on no child.

These school of arts i've heard you dont go there to learn.You go there to improve.Aren't you learning to improve lol?I think if prince did have a son/daughter that was an entertainer they would of had to have a very strong mother.Because trust and believe that kid would of been running and telling on him because prince would of made him a jr prince (identity gone)No son like this..Dad listen to this song.Just going off of what tyka said.And others...Because the trait isn't passed down he would of had to of taught jr.Depending on jr's fast learning skills it may of been frustrating to him or dad.

Agree that difficult times can shape a person. However, Prince's Dad mighta got kicked out. If you look at the years Prince's half siblings were born, he had a child in 1959 with a woman he had other children with already. Prince was born in 1958 and Tyka in 1960 so there was stuff goin on.
