Lost Interview

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/princes-lost-rolling-stone-interview-i-dont-think-about-gone-20160422

Pretty good read, talks about a couple of Revolution albums, 1 vanity 6 album, and 2 Time albums being unreleased.

Hope this isn't against the rules

The full story of that night will appear in the next issue of Rolling Stone.

Better late than never.

Judging from the excerpts, this was actually a great and informative interview, which is a rarity for Prince. I'm sorry it was never released while he was alive, but I'm happy to read it now. The comments about the vault boggle my fucking mind. I really hope there's a plan laid out.

The comments about his celibacy were very interesting as well.

The info about the vault is tantilizing and, yet, troubling if we never get to hear any of it...

He bulldozed two houses, had himself cremated, what might he want done with the vault?

Isn't the only Revolution album in the vault, Roadhouse Garden? Or do you think he's also including live albums and the sort?

I was wondering if the second album he was really talking about was Dream Factory.

Four years with Prince is a long ass time, considering how much he wrote and recorded. I wouldn't be surprised if he was referring to 2 studio albums. I'm sure the live stuff is there as well.

I think his response of "No" refers to the concept of being "gone." He even goes onto say he can imagine a time in the future when he won't be speaking in "real time" (inferring that his presence will be from the past).

I've seen others suggest that a fan like Questlove handles The Vault. I can't think of anything worse. A fan might hold stuff back that they think isn't good enough. I'd rather someone more detached had access.

Sheila's comments were worrying. Perhaps she's embarrassed by material that she now feels is "dirty" in light of her later religiosity.

If it is destroyed, others may leak stuff anyhow.
