An amazing performance few know about?

I thought it would be cool to make a thread to post about performances that probably few know about/ have heard. So obviously, including a professionaly recorded performance or a First Ave. show isn't what I'm talking about. I'm talking reletively obscure/ not-talked-about performances.

My nomination - Peach - Oberhausen, 2002 (One Night Alone Tour)
"Oberhausen, WE LIKE 2 FUNK!"

I always liked the 12th Sept @ 02 piano segment - he basically went through 1999 album...which was not the norm for that tour.

Also the aftershow the next night where the show opened with The Dance (albeit only Renato) and P did a full version Paisley Park (rare for me).

3121 jazz cuisine, december 9th And 10th, 2006. Seeing Prince And the band in a small restaurant performing only 5 meters away from us while we were having a meal at 4 am, together with only ca 75-100 other people. Priceless!

This show was awesome, especially the part where Prince played alone with his hohner. Can you imagine the song Hair with only his electric guitar ! Computer Blue was played just the same too. Electrifying show !!!

Oh my goodness. There is a whole section on princevault for one off appearances/concerts few know about (not part of a major tour) - Prince is the hardest working man in show business.

I'm one of them. Maybe the best I've seen, definately in my top 3. He was fire during the late set & being a foot away didn't suck.

I was there, too...priceless memory for me.

I remember there was actually a huge storm over western germany that day, we're talking wind speeds of over 120kp/h which is huge for Germany.

Was pretty miserable having to stand outside of the arena in Oberhausen in that kind of wheather, but everything was forgotten as soon as we got inside and the show started.

Man, the ONA tour was something special...seen him a few times since then, but those two concerts in Frankfurt and Oberhausen really made me a fanatic.

3121 aftershow the weekend after the Super Bowl. Sheila E. sat in - only known performance of Wasted Kisses. And I was sitting right next to Prince's guitar set-up - close enough to pinch his ass or pick his pocket.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I was in Frankfurt and Oberhausen too. And I remember that storm. It was pretty scary to drive to Oberhausen, but nothing bad happened.

The last quarter of Jam of the Year concert in Charlotte, NC was awesome. Prince was just possessed by the music (as usual). He was super high-energy, ripped off his shirt, dancing around in snake skin pants. Its a shame no video has surfaced considering all the other footage from this tour that is available.
