Also homophobia is a fear of homosexuality, I think it is homophobic to infer that homosexual men like wearing dresses.

He was great as himslef in "The New Girl" and is capable of camping the night fantastic in "Under The Cherry Moon".

I always thought that was one of the main reasons we liked Prince.

He did things with little-to-no regard for mass perceptions.

I'm biased in favor of artists with "cooky" personalities.

Prince

Madonna

Tori Amos

Lady Gaga

Courtney Love

David Lynch

I've never met a PR trainwreck I didn't have an affinity for.

Prince has been "gay" since 1978, yet has done nothing to dissuade this perception.

Any of the artists I've named could sand down their quirks and possibly gain a whole new world of fans.

That they refuse to and still maintain a level of mass popularity is endearing.
