You signed up at Tidal for the free trial. Phase Two starts after your free trial period. Will you stay with Tidal for Phase Two since it will mean paying for Tidal?

Is this conjecture? Or has Phase Two been announced?

But either way, I doubt Phase Two would entice me to stay. At least, not until I heard songs from Phase Two.

I still detest Phase One with a purple passion. If Phase Two is anything like Phase One, there's no possible way I would pay for Tidal just to get Phase Two.

This question has become even more relevant since Prince is no longer on the Tidal1020 line up... I think he feels he's done enough for the $ JayZ paid him wink

Just remember 2 things:

1. The music you keep offline stays with you after the account closes (as long as you keep the app).

2. New PayPal accounts are quite easy to set up.

This eases much of the lingering pain from lotuflw3r.com

No it doesn't, at least, not on iPhone. My account expired and, as expected, I could not log in to play the downloaded offline content.

RIP sad

Well, the 'Purple Pick of the Week' and Tidal concert doubt have been enough for me to cancel my free month 2 days before it ends and sign back up with another email account. Free subscription until 7th Nov lol

Seriously though, a serious point - in my opinion, if Prince had his whole studio-released back catalogue and kept to Purple Pick brief I'd happily pay for Tidal - albeit the £9.99 basic subscription.

THere just sees no incentive to pay for Tidal, until Prince's back-catologue is available and he offers more than what I already have as a longstanding fn

I decided to stay and to pay for a month -- too lazy to do the email switch.

Maybe another month or until the end of the year, depending on what I see and what I enjoy

I was going to cancel when the month was up anyway because I don't rent music. Then I heard how the SOTT album is presented, with some tracks sourced from a (louder) compilation and most from the original (quieter) CD. This is just amateurish and as I own the album already on CD, LP & cassette I don't need to rent an inferior copy, so, I cancelled early.

As for the "exclusives", I'll buy copies I can own as he makes them available or I'll "find" them elsewhere. Just sayin'... wink

[Edited 10/5/15 7:02am]

So you now wish to rent SOTT?

No. I don't wish to rent music at all. And even if I did, I would have changed my mind the second I heard Tidal's presentation of SOTT. It's so bad I quit the FREE trial early. Is that more clear?

Not dead, not in prison, still funkin'...

Well I do have Android. I'll see if our was just a glitch from last cycle. I was shocked that my tracks were still playing. It allowed me to space out my trials a bit.
