i know all that, but why do you take it to heart so much? doesn't having to defend the music

and then being trolled for that, kind of leave a bad taste in your mouth? and thus kind of taint

your enjoyment of prince's music?

there's some people being very vocal right now about how 'bad' a song FIL2N actually is, but
iirc there was a lot of love for it too, when it was first released. some of the people who loved
it first time round might now feel disappointed about it, simply because we already bought the

single and now it's 'taking up space' on a new album, when that slot could be filled with a new

song we'd never even heard before (how old is FIL2N now? 1.5 years? another album came out
after it even).

For example, one of my Prince guilty pleasures is All the Midnights In the World. ALOT of people don't like the song, but do I go on every thread to complain about it? No.

exactly. my favorit songs from planet earth are "all the midnights in the world" and "lion of judah",
both of which get the brunt of the hate for that album but i couldn't care less. i love them and i do
play them, regularly. but apart from possibly contributing on a hate thread created for those songs,
and adding why i actually love them, i don't see how anything i say or do is going to convince any

person on here to revise their feelings and that's fine. i don't want to try harder, most people do

not want to try harder. because it's just pop music at the end of the day. it's not your children or
your parents, it's not your brothers or sisters. it's music. music that the man who created it seems

to care only a little bit about. you should enjoy it, that's why he makes it and if other people hate

I'd like to hear Fallinluv2nite without Zooey and the Chipmunk voice effect, with a real house beat not some dollar store euro-trance. I do absolutely love those blooming synths in the middle of the song, I imagine red flowered fireworks in my head when I hear them.

Like most I am totally disappointed to see Fallinlove2nite on this CD. However with the TCBU remix crap I shouldnt be surprised.

Its just strange cause for the first time in like ever (like forever ever) I have never found myself so unexcited for a new Prince album in my life!!! Talk about disappointing.

And for the record, I fucking love All the Midnights in the World. And I dig Fall in Love 2nite a whole lot too. But the TCBU remix makes me angry, and really disappointed. Whereas the original is hands down one of my favorite Prince songs in the last 15 years. So yeah...isn't it great that we all have our own taste and opinions?

but to be included on a new album that's just weird. but hey, i guess it's 'experimental'
