Regarding Revelation not being on the album, I guess we just are'nt ready for it yet.........I can hear Prince sayin it now..."ya'll aint ready for that" song abuptly cut short....

Anyway, it is a shame, best ballad I have heard in decades from the man.

Are you new to Prince? Prince has been semi-embarrasing from day one.. there absolutely nothing whatsoever new about that. And to me that's part of the charm of being a fan. He's always entertaining.

Well judging by the 3 new tracks we have listened to, it seems they kid has gotten a lot lot better. I think they are the best Prince tracks has released in many years.

I knew on first listen on AOA that it was an amateur behind the scenes on the get go. It was the elephant in the room that was so obvious it hurt. Literally hurt. Gratingly bad. But the good thing about being young, you have time to get better at anything you have a passion for and work at. Especially when you have someone caring to encourage you.

Both he and Hannah are really young, they'll both grow and learn a lot just having a 24/7 opportunity to practice and do stuff in PP if P continues to keep them around.

6. Fallinlove2nite

7. X's Face

Three highly skippable tracks in a row. I can't think of another Prince album with three in a row. This is shaping up to be his most disappointing album ever.

U obviously haven't listened to planet earth. Can't say I blame u

.

When did mid-late 20s become really young? Maybe thats whats wrong with the world we treat grown adults with kid gloves to avoid hurting their kid feelings. I thought that 30 was when artists expire nowadays anyway.

For me, it's worth it just for an official release of "1,000 Hugs and Kisses". That's what my daughter and I say to each other before bedtime, and we've been saying that since before I even knew there was a Prince song with that title. So that's a special song for us, no doubt!

Fallinlove2night should be replaced by Stare. Very surprised to see it on here. Also wish he would give up on This Could Be Us. Horrible song in either version. I am in the minority of people who actually like X's Face. Glad it's on there.

I like the X's Face. I also like FALLINLOVE2NITE. Always would rather have new songs though.

Very surprised to not see Stare. I thought that single was to promote this new album.

I've listened to the remix of This Could B Us only once or twice and it didn't catch my attention yet. Will put it on a playlist soon and give it a few more tries. I was fairly neutral about the AOA version as well.

This project reminds me Bowie's "Earthling".

If it's half as good and half as fucked-up as Earthling was, it'll be great.

My fear is that it'll be ultra mainstream and everything but experimental as claimed in interviews, but let's see.

I'm very curious to hear it.

I never stated embarrassing himself was anything new to Prince. That is part of the appeal of Prince, Tom Jones, & James Brown.

Those guys would do something embarrassing one minute/brilliant the next.

It's been a stretch since Prince has wowed us with brilliance. His appearance on Josh Weltons new cd is showing potential to be more embarrassment

Based on what we know so far, it's very unlikely SHITNRUNS will be even 5% as good as Bowie's Earthling. That album is amazing.

It's okay though. I still have Black Messiah to listen to. The album Prince wishes he had made.

I don't know, BM is quintesential D'Angelo. They have nothing in common. Everyone has their thing and as much as I like BM, it's not something anyone would expect from Prince. Especially after year after year of grandma funk like Fallinlovetonight, Breakfast Can Wait and Clouds.

That BM sound is just not Prince. Not anymore or any time soon. I'm actually glad there is a little bit of testostorone left in him to be able to release Hardrocklover and Stare. It was getting to the point where even fragile skinny white girls like Taylor Swift were sounding like she was juicing and sounding gansta figuratively speaking compared to Prince.

When even Taylor sounds harder than you, he had to be clutching his pearls and exclaiming "Oh Dear!"

His last labum was all about the grandma funk. Like he was going into menopause or something.

I think "BM" is a great way to describe the impact of FALLINLOVE2NITE, X's Face, and TCBU remix have on me. Violent, projectile BMs.

A Million Dollar Show.

What a horrible song. My oh my. And its got Joshua all over it. How sad that is.

Why on earth don't you just wait a few days when the song is out, instead of judging on either a title or the 30 secs snippet from the intro to the recent shows???

Well at least one or two person do. That's cool. But it is simply atrocious on every single level. Not even up to snuff for a Rebbeca Black or any exploited teenie bopper.
