I'm surprised "The One" hasn't made anyone's list so far!!!!

I don't get the hate for Lemon Crush.

I would say either Purple & Gold or Everybody Loves Me.

I wouldn't say it's the worse in my opinion. It's not too bad, I guess. But, it certain was not that 'amazing' track everyone was calling it. It sounded like a Diamonds & Pearls b-side.

This. Love the start to Animal Kingdom, 'I saw a friend of mine today, in an ad saying what would do my body good'. The vocals are great - they've got grit.

Actually, I really like Animal Kingdom. I wish Prince would make more music like it. I'll take a song about veganism over another love song anyday. In fact, I'd take a whole concept album about veganism with a photo of a carrot on the album cover.

Amazing beat... Not a bad song at all, was inteded for a scene in Batman but didn't get used, wasn't a song penned inteded to be a masterpiece... People really bash this song don't know why...

It's not that these songs are bad, they are unique, Purple and Gold at least sounds the way it does because it was by design, with a a football and vikings theme in mind, which he nailed. If that song was on AoE with no explanation, then yeah, different story.

Animal Kingdom, just uniqe, not good, not bad, just Prince exploring new areas musically, which is at times better than most artists in their comfort zone.

Not many artst can write and record a dirge in one day.That's what makes this song genius. It's an old fashioned fight song. How many of us had to endure terribly boring school song's growing up? If you listen to it in that context, I beleive that it's a great song.

We march and Right the Wrong, wow. I did not like C&D for a long time. But the lyric is what hooked me. We march I liked immediately-how could you go wrong with the Gold Experience CD, too many great songs. I listen to AOA only once and put it away-just like 20ten.

Wedding Feast in my opinion is an ecellnent "song" because it's a departure from eveything else he had done up until this release, with it's very clever lyric. It was meant to be toungue and cheek, and surely not designed to be taken seriously.

Is that worse than "trippy picture shoe"? That one's far more annoying to me--jobba/robba/stoppa is silly, but the whole song is. Parts of Electric Chair are clever, but that opening rhyme is just ridiculous.

That is JUST. SO. WRONG.

'Lemon Crush' is fabulous as is the whole Batman album.
In fact, from now on it's my OFFICIAL favourite.
