Or is it possible that you haven't listened to Prince's most recent music and 3rdEyeGirl's influence on him?

Because the music he is making now with 3RDEYEGIRL is arguably MY FAVORITE MUSIC OF PRINCE'S CAREER... and the journey is just beginning!

I like all the songs on his debut, but the acapella intro title song is really touching and beautiful.

Soft & Wet, I'm Yours are my favourites too.

Prince really is so full of talent, he was amazing -- from the very first song.

I think thats mostly the problem around here and what people expect.

I personally love all of Prince's heavy guitar rock work. Especially his breif stint in the early 90's where he eccentuated it a bit more.

^ 3EG shows that Prince has lost it, imo. "Breakfast.." is ok, the rest... no not really...

But I will be patient, waiting waiting and waiting some more. Hopefully the upcoming album will be better.

Also. I will be looking at all the teasers, with release dates: "never"....

2013 will be "big", that was the promise from Dr Funkenberry in january, and here we are in late october.. still waiting...

The 3EG era makes me depressed somehow and disappointed too, because I haven't seen any "big" thing happening, not yet.. and now the new album (?!) is postponed to 2014, according the latest rumors??

Yeah, great, the Warner eras, they -all- makes me happy, and the albums back then were great from the very beginning, in 1978.

Like I wrote before - the title track is so touching and beautiful. I love the whole album a lot.
