I also prefer the Original Extended Mix, but I'm pretty sure that Jamie Lewis "touched" that too, because I read previously (in the credits) that Jamie Lewis mixed (and possibly mastered) it. That song was recorded, engineered, mixed, and mastered PERFECTLY.

If Jamie was involved with the mix/mastering of the original, then my hat's off to him, because it does sound great. I haven't heard a REMIX by Jamie Lewis yet that I thought had anything meaningful (or even fun) to contribute to the original track, going back to the Dance 4 Me remixes.

I must agree, and I'm pretty open with electronic music at large... even produced some house tracks back in the '90s.

I'd say Prince's house remixes from the '90s were much better.

Where is Junior Vasquez when you need him?

Love it! Original Extended Mix -yes!

I heard the edit version on the radio in a store back when it first came out. I stood right there

listening to it until it was over! It was great to hear a new (& good) Prince song on the radio

again. Even if for just that one time I guess.

I'm also alright with the Remix7 mix. And I like listening to the live Jimmy Kimmel

version. That one's a treat to have with the big horn section & Prince in a great stage mood.

Maybe the most non-engaging average track I've heard from him in years. The remix was step in the right direction though.

Love it. Probably the best of his catchy pop efforts in recent times.

Yep, love this song, the feel, production, the lyrics, all work for me, I play this a lot and some of the mixes too.

This could easily have been a hit here in UK if: it was available to buy while it was being played on the radio (BBC Radio 2), the release was delayed and delayed and radio seemed to have stopped playing it by the time it came out. Then when it was finally due some shops had it and some didn't, London Oxford Street HMV said they were expecting copies every day on the first week of release but they didn't arrive until into week two. Then there was the £10 price for the CD single. I got the 12" picture disc in the first week in an independent shop on Berwick Street which does not send it's data to the chart compilers.

This all made me think with a bit more coordination and thought on pricing a chart placing would have been easy for this song.

After all that, I love it. If there is an album I would imagine this will be a highlight.

Both "Take Me With U" & also "Girls And Boys" are a 100.000.000 times better than Rock N' Roll Love Affair => I really detest RnRLA barf

Another musically anaemic effort, pretty much like Somewhere here on earth or Te amo corazon! Don't care for it at all!

Noo, bite your tongue, Somewhere here on earth and T Amo Corazon are utterly divine and should never be classed with RRLA!!

Not I. Never warmed up to RNR Love Affair. Even on Kimmel. The Dance Electric on Kimmel made me go ga ga, not this one.

I really like this track. Took awhile for me to really dig and I agree that the original version is great. This should be on the new CD(s).

Sophisticated and mature = a musically lifeless copy of "Power Fantastic" and a generic latin beat going nowhere

I was never a hater of it, but at first I was a bit ho-hum. But it is a grower. I'd say it's better than most of the 2013 stuff so far.

I was shocked when I heard it the first time, thought that Prince had finally completely lost it. I got a bit more used to it and I can see its "Pop Potential", but still I think it is quite a bland/boring track. And I can't get over the "Take Me With U" reference, it is just too much for me.

The only thing I like about it is how "radio friendly" its production sounds...

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Most of the time, the Org is like one big seesaw of extremes. I love it, I hate it, I love it, I hate it. lol
