Maybe this is Prince refusing to participate in a "Democrazy." I'm sure the "Theocratic Order" sounds great until he thinks about what might happen to his ass in prison.

BTW,, a tax lien is much different then hiding income or not paying taxes on income,, there are many reasons why people do this; disagreeing with the valuationof property being number 1

I find it funny how the irs is going after all these celebrities who owe taxes, don't get me wrong they should pay, the funny part about it is that the irs has been under scrutiny about how much money they spent on all those "confrences" now they are doing their jobs and getting the money owed

SFA, I think it's more like $250,000,000 from celebrity networth (you left out 50 million). lol

He actually mentioned disagreeing about the value of the property before and has fought assessments therefore he could be refusing to pay due to a disagreement about the valuation of the property.

I've read a lot that Celeb Net Worth isn't that reliable. However, I guess it can be a starting point for discussion.

I always thought Prince was, obviously, very wealthy ($100 million or more, $200 million at the most), but for some reason always got the impression that he wasn't ultra-super-rich. Of course "very wealth" and "ultra super rich" don't have standard meanings.

Who knows - the specifics of his bank account would be really interesting - where all the money's coming from, where it's going, what assets he has, how income has changed over time, what he's generated from specific albums, tours, movies, etc. But, I've accepted that we'll never know, and clearly have no right to know.
