It's not a bad track. Probably one of his better efforts of the past 5 years. I'd like to see it "live". I mean in person live. If he gets kids to do the twist, I'll be really shocked. I got a bit bored for them, just watching.

But, hey he's making a real effort to reach a new generation. This is certainly interesting to see and was starting to believe I'd never see Prince really trying to be "current" ever again.

I'd still rather see him team up with DJ Poet or hell even Peter Fox (look up Seeed)!

Looks like it was shot with the surveillance cams at Paisley Park. Dimly lit, black and white, stationary cam shots. Don't know why the casting call for dancers called for 18-21 only... not like you could see anyone.

Corny opening skit/set up for the 3rd Eye Girl/band concept.

Very much in the vein of "The Second Coming" type thing Prince did back in the day.

Overall, this vid is meh. Can't believe Prince spent more money producing a vid for RNR Love Affair a song I consider subpar to Screwdriver. Bring back Sanaa Hamri who directed the Musicology vids.

Exactly. It's a nice performance of the song, but the video itself is pretty run of the mill once it gets going. That intro skit is AWFUL though, and I really hate how cheap digital makes everything look.

I think someone on the org mentioned the 3rdeyeboys are the 3rdeyegirls real life Husbands or boyfriends... Hannah is married to the african american guy and the blond guy with long hair is Donna's BF...

Had the same problem. Contacted Support through the email and they got back to me within 20 minutes, reset my download limit, and gave me some help getting the download to work properly.

As for the video, yeah, it's a little cheesy--but I still like it. It has that garage band/kids playing with a videocamera vibe to it. Plus, it's a nice little version of the song.

But a Prince web project with PROMPT and HELPFUL support? Now THAT'S reason to be excited!

It's always been about the music! Sure we can complain about the stor line, and why doesn't Prince just perform? BUT HEY! HE DID...AND HE TORE IT UP!

The story just brings some suspense, and there is arm stretches to bring the people to the stage, and he rocks it out!

Very easy process to get the video from the site, and I think it rocked TOTALLY! Just seeing his shread that guitar, and letting Donna shread as well! That was just remarkable!!!!

I also, loved the fact that he was So cool on the Grammy's! Prince, is up for a return to the POPULAR SCENE!

No complaints for me, JUST pure excitement! HE gave ALL what we was hopping for, and SOME!

I saw the same old same old at 20pr1nc3.com, went to 3rd Eye Girl, bought it, didn't get the email, but noticed the link on the order recieved page, made the mistake of clicking download, went back and right click/saved it, took nearly 10 minutes to download, watched...

The intro was corny, the dancing was silly, but the performance rocked! Worth the measley $1.77...

Laughing my ass of at those that are pissed it isn't free. I thought the consensus among us was we weren't interested in a membership site where we didn't know what we were getting, and prefered a site where we could buy, or not buy what we want at reasonable prices. That's what we have here. The freebies so far have been great promotion, but, we had to know there'd be stuff for sale, right?

I had the same problem trying to download, because when I right-clicked, I didn't get the 'Save target as', so I had to open the link in a new browser.

. Once purchased, it tells you to go to 'Save Target As', but if you don't get that msg, when you right click, then t tells you to copy the link in a different browser, and save it there. I opened Google Chrome, and copied tthe link to that browser, then highlighted the link, went to 'File' and chose, 'Save As' and it saved in my documents file. Then I right-clicked the file to open, and it opened in Windows Media player, and started downloading. Only takes just a few minutes to download, and then the video plays.

I'm sure someone will stick it up for free somewhere by the time we wake up in the morning and those that are adverse to paying can still get their fix. For $1.77, I don't mind supporting this venture... I got my $$ worth!
