Well, if one considers the Voice to be an instrument - and given how integral it is to a considerable amount of music - one should, then technically Prince already is an instrument.

But if he were to be another instrument, he would have to be a Ukelele.

Prince wouldn't have been 1 instrument, He Is indeed several instruments aalready:

He is a guitar

His Voice is an instrument by itself

He is a Piano

Prince is simply MUSIC
