What's your favorite Prince clown?

There's so many right? I was just listening to an old show at Paisley Park (The Park vol. 1, disk 1)....and I started busting up...he first asks "Minneapolis! How many ladies know about control? Minneapolis! How many ladies know about Pussy Control?" before he and the NPG plays P Control. And then after P Control he hollas, "Do the ladies love this muthafunka? Don't make me sing to y'all ladies...and he mimics TLC singing 'Don't go Chasing Waterfalls.' He waits a few seconds. "Y'all like TLC?...TLC's Record Company President is in the house tonight...we wanna give props to Mr. LA Reid....then again hilariously starts to mimic TLC with 'Don't go Chasin--and if it ain't good to you, you gottta "Let it Go" and Boom! they drop the funky beat as he says the title of the song.

Or maybe my favorite is on One Nite Alone Disc 2 the beginning of 'Family Name' when Prince is asking everyone what their last name is emphasizing the meaning of the song and then double clowns a girl. He asks a young-sounding woman, "What's your name Madam?" "ReBEKKKAA!!!" And then he replies, "And what's your last name ReBEKKKAAAA?!!!" And she replies "Schiffler" Ad Prince once again goes, "We gonna give you a new name tonight ReBEKKKAAAA" "Outlaw. Rebecca Outlaw." Unbelievable how he called her madam (keeper of a whorehouse) and then gave her the last name of Outlaw (a crook or felon), but that's P at his best, double clowned woman so smoothly they don't pick up on either.

HA!! No worries brotha. Another 1 I thought of was right before the super bowl show for the press Prince was like, "Actually, contrary to was told to you earlier, I will be happy to answer a few of your questions right now..." And the second 3 reporters started asking questions the backed into Johnny B. Goode. Please tell me I'm not the only one picks up on Prince clowning fools all over the place, but in a respectful way.

One of my favorites, is the ending interview with Maria in 2004, when he asks her to sing Delirious/ Purple Rain and he points to her to sing..It's too funny. Hahaha

I'll be back with more! lol

Prince: How many of you have The Rainbow Children?

Audience: Various shouts and cheers.

Prince: ....how many of you got it from the music club?

Audience: A few shouts.

Prince: ....and how many of you bought it from a record store?

Audience: A few shouts.

Prince: ....and how many of you downloaded it for free?

Audience: A handful of people shout yes.

Just thought of another one! Maybe my favorite Prince Clown of all time...

Prince clowning Rosie O'Donnell on the Rosie O'Donnell Show!

Rosie O'Donnell thought she was being cute oblivious to her rudeness before Prince politely put her in her place:

Rosie: "Do you know I have a nickname for you?"

Prince: "Uh-oh."

Rosie: "Do you know what I call you? TAF-KAP. See, The Artist Formerly Known as..."

Prince jokingly says under his breath, "Thank you good night." But the uncomfortable laughter from the audience drowned out Prince's response.

So Rosie being Rosie thinks she's funny and tries to take it a little further a few minutes later....

Rosie: "Now you see, TAFFY, if you..." the audience laughs out of shock that Rosie would have the nerve to call Prince Taffy.

But Prince played it so cool. He ask smiling, "Oh we gonna go there, r u?"

Rosie: "Taffy is nice. You like Kap better?"

Prince smiling, "You know what Taffy rhymes with, don't you?"

Rosie: "Taffy, waffy, caffy, swaffy, maffy??" Rosie flippantly asks making up ridiculous rhymes to her ridiculous nickname of him before she wonders, "No. What does Taffy rhyme with?"

Prince without a smile on his face, "It rhymes with GOOD-NIGHT!"

Rosie: "Goodnight?" And as she says the 'night' part of goodnight she realizes that he's about to walk of her show because she offended him. She blushed bright red in embarrassment before uncomfortably replying, "Oh boy, I won't call you that anymore....so..." desperately seeking for words to say "ummm....listen...ummmm......the thing is....ummmm....OK I'll just point to your symbol.....ummm....ok....so how do you like the married life?" Rosie is so nervous looking through papers on her desk she then asks Prince "Ummm...So You met you're wife in a club?"

Prince: "No."

Rosie: "See what you read in the papers is wrong Prince--I mean Mr. Artist, I mean...."

Prince: "Actually that's better than Taffy."

Rosie: "OK I won't call you Taffy anymore. It slipped out."

To see the demeanor of Rosie O'Donell change from acting all chirpy and cocky thinking she's so funny to suddenly switch to a little girl begging for forgiveness was classic!!!

Oh it's easy for me this one.

We were at lovesexy waiting for the show to start and every now and then you could see some light coming from under the stage. Security were busy shuffling around and we were all trying to sneak a peek at what was going on.

After moving closer we had a better view and at one point a curtain under the stage lifted and we saw Sheila stuffing hotdog sausages down the back of Princes trousers. Polka dotted they were. The trousers, not the hotdogs.

Then the show starts and P comes round the stage in his T-Bird and everyone's going nuts. As the car came around we could see hotdogs spitting from the exhaust pipe. My mate caught one in the bowler hat he was wearing and had it surgically implanted in his japs-eye the day before his wedding. When P got on the mic, instead of the usual "Snare drum pound on the 2 and 4" he sang "Who in this house know where I can get some ketchup and onions." He even had a stain on the back of his trousers. Oh it was so funny. He's such a gas. Whooooo.

Alright, some of that may be wrong as my mind is what it is. Forgive me, I've been reading American.

16th September 07 in the Indigo2. He started chattin about getting his mum tampons and trying to pick up girls etc. Not in that order but ya know, some of that was pretty funny. Kiddin around during Satisfied was pretty good too. He went proper cock-eyed and was having a laugh.

Those feckin trainers with the lights on, do they count as Clown shoes? They looked like it to me. Tiny tiny, yeah, but definite clown material.

When we were at the Apollo for ONA he did his little guitar set and someone shouted "I Love U" loudly. It was a fellas voice and P stopped playin and said "Now that voice was a lil too deep fo me". Said it was ok to shout that shit after something rocky but not during a ballad. Somethin like that anyway. He's got a sense of humour, least he did have. Thinking about it, my favourite Prince clown has to be the one that released most of the post 90 stuff. Specially that Arse & Arse bit noncy affair.

La la la la *zigzaggin snipers* La la la la la...

Hahaha, Reading these has me laughing!

Such a cool thread mentioning Prince being a fool! LOL

When Prince was on the Tavis show in 2009; when Tavis complimented him about being the greatest guitar player of our time..The way Prince says;

"Man I like this show...Good Lawd" Haha..It's so funny how he just loosens up because he is flattered. lol

Another moment that's funny on the Tavis show is when he mentions Bria Valente.

"She's really funny, and she likes to laugh, and you know TRAVIS I love to laugh..so..I am kidding with you; I told her I was going to say that to you for her.."

Tavis just cracks up laughing, while Prince laughs really hard too. "He's funny..Yeah...'

Then Tavis says "You got it out and on that note, you can get out of here!"

Prince just start bursting out laughing!

It's too funny..lol

Prince Clowns Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton was in the audience at his show at Club 3121 in the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on April 20. So Prince sees Paris dancing and invites her onstage. Paris is so excited and she comes running up on stage. Then Prince handed her the microphone because she put out a CD earlier that last year and told the audience, "Let's see if she can really sing." Paris was embarrassed she stormed off the stage and left the club two songs later.

I mean he she's a singer, right? wink
