The San Francisco '86 show is one of my very favorites. It must be 2 and a half hours long and Prince is in a great mood; there is lots of relaxed banter and improvisation throughout the show.

The Revolution aftershow from '86 with Strange Relationship, Last Heart and Head. I can't remember what the boot ended up being called but I play that one the most, even with the terrible sound quality.

I think if I had a soundboard, it would be my favorite live show.

It was called "Burn It Up", and this was going to be at the very top of my list. This version of SR is my absolute favorite, especially with the way it leads into Last Heart. Head is a bad jam too, and it's just unfortunate that a better sounding version of this show STILL hasn't seen the light of day.

This would also be on my list, just for "Wasn't My Faith". A really cool song!

I've never heard Burn It Up before. That looks amazing.

I gave Le New Morning (87) on City Lights Remastered 6. Is there any other boot with better sound quality of that show?

What boots is this show on?

It is on a boot called The Baddest Band In The Universe (released by the Free Boot Generation/FBG label). A previous version was released by Sabotage as San Francisco Live 1986.

This was at the New Morning club in Paris, August 24, 1986. It wasn't actually an aftershow, because it was the only show performed that night. If ever there was a bootleg that needed a sound quality upgrade, this is the one.

The sound quality could be better.

The circulating version is taken from the video. Prince brought in a mobile sound truck to record the show, which probably sounds much better than the video version, similar to the birthday '84 show.

Prince in Atlanta in 1980 when he was the opening act for Rick James. He really turns out "Still Waiting", "I Feel For You", and "Just As Long As We're Together". The sound is pretty good but I wish it was perfect.
