"This is the New Romance"- Chicago 93

Viva Las Vegas- LV 98

As for videos, San Fransisco 2006. The version of "Girls and Boys" is beyond killer, with a whole new horn line that Prince calls the "Jimmy Pop", I think. Anyone who has seen this surely would love to get their hands on the version Prince recorded for the vault.

Sam's 81
First Avenue '82
Chicago (1999 tour as it the lengithiest show w/ both sexuality let's pretend + DMSR)

First Avenue '83 (agree that the sound could be much better)
First Avenue '85

OKAY BASICALLY HE SHOULD RELEASE A FIRST AVENUE SOUNDBOARD SET

Would also be nice for some of his more recent shows to get some soundboards

Naturally I'd love the London shows I attended for 21 nights in soundboard too(!)

I forgot the 21 Nights London Aftershow trio w/ Josh and Cora! A furious balls-out rock show that starts with "Sexuality" (Or Spirituality, ahem) and featuring killer takes on "I Like it There", "Johnny B. Goode", "Elephants and Flowers", and "Alphabet Street", among others. The boot's ok, but really wish there was a soundboard.

A complete collection of all his First Ave gigs to date from an unofficial label would be a nice thing to have.

Prince would just ruin it if he were in charge.

The Eye release gets very close.

I'm hoping for a soundboard one day of the First Avenue benefit concert and the concert from the Love 4 One Another movie that had Days Of Wild and The Ride.

That actually wasn't a concert per se, they were just shooting a few songs at Paisley Park on a couple different nights for that VH1 special.

Gotta Lotta Butter To Go. This show is FUNKY, but the sound quality needs improvement.

As mentioned on the artwork, the taper had microphone problems during this show, also the room in which the band played was also very narrow, so not the best of conditions in which to record a show.

I think you can be safe in the knowledge that 4DF did all they could to make the quality as listenable as possible. This show was uncirculated before this release, so it's good that we have it at all.

It's a great show. I would just give my right nut for a perfect quality recording.

I never read the artwork. I don't bother to print it out. I don't open the files.

Sorry my first post about Gotta Lotta was unclear. I didn't mean to imply that the recording quality was the "fault" of the recorders. I was trying to find an innocuous way of saying theoretically there could be a better recording. My bad.

But I'm not reading booklets. That's a pain the balls.

Prince in Atlanta in 1980 when he was the opening act for Rick James. He really turns out "Still Waiting", "I Feel For You", and "Just As Long As We're Together". The sound is pretty good but I wish it was perfect.

Isn't there a rumour that this is transferred from a video?

Also, Digitalgardenperson, I have to confess that I was typing frantically in the ten seconds of cell reception I had between subway stations. Again, my bad. No offense meant to tapers or 4DF.
