My Personal Dream Factory Configuration So I woke up this morning and couldn't stop listening to Last Heart. Because it was stuck in my head I read up on the song and found out it was supposed to be on Dream Factory. Then I started looking for Dream Factory so I could listen to the album as a whole to get the experience out of it, but couldn't find it. (It's definitely out there, I just didn't look for long) So because I like to get a little creative (and by creative I mean poorly made photoshops) I decided, what the heck, I'll make my own version of Dream Factory. I took out all the Sign O The Times material (except Strange Relationship since I LOVE this version!) and the songs I couldn't find in my copy of Work It 2.0 and sat down and made the album. It's nothing special, but I thought it'd be cool to compare my setlist as opposed to some of yours

I'm sort of playing around with my configuration. I took out Strange Relationship just because its also on Sign O The Times and I want to focus on mostly unreleased stuff. I also took out Crystal Ball since while its a great jam, it drags too much for my taste and I wanna keep this version around 40-50 minutes long. I added Teacher Teacher, Others Here With Us, and Old Friends 4 Sale. Purple is the color of my heart,

Such great music from this period. Prince has enough stuff to release an album that would equal his mid 1980's peak. An album with witness, go, cosmic day, In a large room, spalsh, crucial etc on it surely would go down as an all time great. As it stands from great quality boots and the crystal ball release there is enough stuff to put together a stunning album. I wish one of the great boot labels would attempt to put together an album with tracks not appearing on any other proper album and top notch boots all from the 1985 1986 sessions, master it and put together great artwork. | |

I got to listen to All My Dreams for the first time, and when I heard it... I HAD to include it on my Dream Factory configuration.
This is my final configuration (as I've already privately shared it with my non-Prince fan friends in an attempt to coax them to give the music a chance)

I took out Crystal Ball as I felt the song dragged way to much for a non Prince fan to appreciate, also because I felt that the sollection needed a few more slow songs like Old Friends 4 Sale to round out the package while keeping the collection short and sweet. Purple is the color of my heart,

Unfortunately my friends aren't fans of those kinds of songs, and since this also is a way of me getting some friends to check out Prince, I had to cut those kind of songs. I should've put it on. If they like the set I'm definitely just throwing the rest of the Dream Factory era songs I have at them. Purple is the color of my heart,
