He hires people to read and report to him about the org?

As in, there actually exist professional orgers??

I would love to witness that at a party.

small talk guy: "So, what do you do? Do you love your job?"

P. staff member: "I love my job! I'm a professional orger!"

do more songs from the 90's and forward more in ur shows

time 2 drop purple rain from the set list

make ur setlist more balanced for all types of fans coming 2 the shows. this means half recent/new and old

release dvd concerts INTACT no editing of yelling at band members or crew and language

stop leading off album projects with ballads ..give up the funk!

stop worrying about the internet cause in this day and age, wrecka stows hardly exist tho physical copies of cd's are always cool 2 have

release the vault INTACT no changes or editing

tour japan

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Ah, interesting.

Well if you ever need a reference about your excellent job skills, just orgnote me. I'll write you a recommedation (and I'll implement spell check).

So, how do people react when you tell them you are a professional orger?

Does the job spread an aura of cool, or do they just look puzzled?

And what was the job description?

PS. Don't mock girls when their beautiful accesories accidentely touch the keyboard, and purely by mistake incite explorer tp pop up! At certain days of the month nipples seem to revolt against their madam by randomly start explorer at screen.

Come to Canada.

More precisely, come to Quebec city (Forget about Montreal for now, it's chaos over there)

So, my wishlist

1. Plaines of Abraham, outdoor concert with hits, can have up to 80 - 100 000 people.

or

1.5 Palais Montcalm venue, smaller, new, great sound (saw Maceo Parker last year there) would take hits too, but many candy too, for hardcore fams smile

(Note, please wear Purple, saw u 5 times last year and didn't catch u in Purple wink

2. Acoustic neverending aftershow somewhere in town, u, and an acoustic guitar, period.

3. Ask me again to come on stage, this time I might be able to, not like last time!

4. Record the show and aftershow, and release it on DVD.

5. Have fun smile

[Edited 5/18/12 8:17am]

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''
If you can't be nice to someone on the net, you probably ain't worth much talking to in real life either.

Stop touring, stop recording, stop releasing..until you complete the remasters series project(s).

I am genuinely curious as to why the re-masters are wanted so badly by some.

Are they meant to be re-recordings and new studio performances? Not sure i would like to hear 53yo Prince re-recording Sexuality or Bambi.

Or is it just a technical exercise to improve the sound quality? And then what sort of improvements are expected? I have CD's of other artists such as Pink Floyd where one is a re-master and one is not and i havent noticed any differences.

prince if you are reading this... i love ya, you are a true magician, maestro, you made me come out of my shell and just remember myself through your career, you have been apart of my life, heart, mind and soul. thank you for all you have done, i will honor as well as remember you forever. you saved me so many times. you are forever going to be the only one i frequently some back and listen to. the way you play guitar and sing is real dear heartfelt pure honest. eventhough the internet may be dead to you, it is one connection i have to your musical creations and fans. if you sold music online again like the music club days that would be cool. thank you for letting me be your fan, letting me love you. whatever you choose to do i will always respect and accept you, like you have given me a place to belong and be myself. hope to one day post something here that inspires you.

I'm skeptical about Prince reading this himself... and that does sadden me to be honest. I wondered after reading that he was against the internet whether it was a true Luddite stance or whether it was related to his professed beliefs.

We are all visitors to this earth, one and all. Each of us has a different experience, with separate journeys that intertwine in mysterious ways; and the internet is just one of those amazing technologies that brings people together to interact in that journey.

Prince's music with its heavy use of synthesizers as a signature will be remembered in the future as amongst the pioneers of the music that came with the invention of the integrated circuit that made personal computers and the internet come to life.

Listening to Scarlet Pussy as I write this, Prince's wonderful synthesized chorus of voice variations is another manifestation of the integrated circuit. He has absolutely mastered it like no other artist. A virtuoso of the IC age of music.

So wherefore art thou puppy? smile

Maybe you don´t notice a difference because those Pink Floyd albums were probably good enough in the first place but most of Prince´s 1980s catalog sounds very thin and weak, especially Sign O The Times. A remaster would definitely sound better if done by the right people.

Ah, I see. Orgiesorganisator attracts a better crowd than professional orger.

1) Listen to your drums on 1999, Purple Rain, Sign Of the Times and AWTID Whatever you were doing then with the Linn do it now

2) NO MORE HORNS on recordings

3) Allow people to record with you again. When you had friends and inspriation the complete works on CDs

were much better. Call Andre, Mark and Dr Fink let them jam with you. See what happens

4) Jimmy Jam discussed them producing you. Let that happen. Just to hear something new

Otherwise thanks for all the awesome music

Nursev is referring to the article in the thread "New Prince Article/Interview," in which he talks with the interviewer about a video of Elizabeth Gilbert talking about the creative process and "genius" - this is when the interviewer asks him how he (and Madonna) have survived while others like Whitney Houston recently have not. The video talks about continuing to "show up" and not worrying about whether "the genius" (an external entity) will visit you, and if you internalize "the genius," it can be paralyzing and destructive. AND this video and similar analysis was discussed on this thread not long ago! http://prince.org/msg/7/377914" target="_blank">http://prince.org/msg/7/377914 Coincidence?

aha! thank you. i'll check it out. meantime,

quite awhile back i'd heard that Prince had turned away from computers due to his distrust of the system.

however and anyway, i'd like to thank Prince for letting the powers that be use his name for this site. here we all get to express our individual opinions on a mega amount of subjects. for that i once again say "thank you Prince."

and i send you:

and hope you have many blessed and wonderful days. btw, thx for your music.

Yes, sure, but he is not reading himself, he lets a "secretary" read and reply for him...

sometimes, he asks the person or any other member belonging to his staff (as well)

to post a question on his behalf.. wink
