I know there 2 hours of outtakes from the "Mountains" video floating around.... anyone wanna confirm if that's where these are from?

They could be outtakes from the video treatments for the singles too (That looks like the "Mountains" outfit and the "Girls And Boys" ballroom)

I actually watched all that and it was just full takes of every angle you see in the released video.

I think I just turned around and ruined my own theory of it being video outtakes.

I've never seen director's cuts or deleted scenes from the movie. Christopher Tracy was wearing the same kinda schitt in the story anyway.

Its like 2 hours long of all angles etc. I love Mountains but damn lol. I know all videos are created like this though.

Ah. Of course I've seen the trailer many times but I guess the edits were too quick for me to notice the horse scene or the other ones. Seeing them as GIFs, I was able to pay attention and notice what was going on.

Um, I still didn't catch him busting in the door with the Mountains hat on. Those are some fast edits.

Reminds me it's about time to watch that DVD again!

That scene though, with the Mountains hat when he busts through the doors, that is definately not in the final movie right? So that is from an out-take scene.

Yep those are all movie deleted scenes

there are pictures of those scenes. The Prince & Kristen love scene had cuts, which we see in those vid clips the horse running etc all that is from that same scene

A side note :

There are a few TV trailers that both have deleted scenes

One of these (perhaps more) trailers is not on the dvd

Off topic, but it's the same with the Purple Rain trailer. There are shots in that that are not seen in the film... rehearsal shots, Prince on bike with train coming towards him shot... The horses scene I remember reading in one of the scripts for UTCM. I do so like that movie!

The repeated use of the scenes, whilst clever, has made this less of an obvious thread for intelligent comment... especiallly as you've (oldfriends4sale) haven't explianed your rush to "get these pictures to the world!"

These aren't outtakes, as such. They are alternative takes, or newly released/discovered sources... if you respect Prince that is.

there IS a color version of movie ,....along with 40 minutes of outtakes....not circulating
