Still Waiting was perfomed on the March 6, 1980 Atlanta concert from City Lights. It was likely performed on many or most of the Rick James shows, and also on many of the Dirty Mind tour shows, including the Paris 1981 show. | |

Because Prince remains unpredictable when you try to plot him...I don't know. 99.9% chance not 0.01% yes. It appears though that someone is reading DrFB stuff (TDE promo 12" and this rehearsal). I once requested Irresistible Bitch in London '90 through one of the bandmembers and that evening it got played. If those 2 are connected , I don't know but I was happy.
What suprises me is that so many people take the all over played hits as choices (like raspberry beret or when doves cry).
my farfetched choice is moonbeam levels (aiming high here)

I did see that. But even then I think its odd to request something from the mainstream choices. However I understand the need of well played and fully fleshed out songs.
Appearantly something like TDE is possible and I wouldn't have thought of it, because it is one in the limelight of possibilities. With that in mind (and also Andy seems having a key to the vault) we can broaden a bit here.

i know he has a tendancy 2 change the show because he knows people go 2 multiple shows in a given date. having said that, it becomes tiresome when it's been the same songs done 2 death over and over for a man with his type of legacy when ur seeing some performers that have been in the business as long but maybe not the same kind of output he has, still being relevant and beliving in their new work where he's stuck in the 80's vibe.

Alexa de Paris was performed at First Ave warm up show for the Parade tour, not sure about the actual tour though.
Batdance was done on the Nude Tour, although a very different version than the album. TRUE BLUE |

wasted kisses was done at the jazz club aftershow during the vegas run in 2006/2007
a;exa de paris was also done 5/23/86 in san francisco, not sure if the wiltern theater in LA got that performance as well
