Agree almost totally, except on Come, I just find Solo incredibly self indulgent and bad, it jut seems disjointed surrounded by all that excellence (Dark is my favourite track and Letitgo is clearly the commercial hit single). It just really is the Lincoln cent amongst the Silver dollars.

Parade for sure. Musicology, NEWS, Prince as well.
And though I'm not a fan of Around The World In A Day, it only makes sense when u listen to the entire thing. Because when I listen to CD as one long continuous song, it's not about loving every single track but being in certain mood and following the theme.
Actually..as much as I'd like to stick to my own playlist, to truly appreciate the music as the artist inteded us to..we should always try to listen to the entire CD

My copy of Lovesexy isnt like that or else I never bothered to skip a song to notice it


Mine let's me skip but I never found it out that way, just wanted to hear when 2 R in love real bad and it skipped.

Around World in a day, Parade, SOTT - because of the songs/production.

NEWS, TRC and Lotus Flower have a nice vibe. I like to listen to them as a whole, especially Lotus.

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I really listen to any whole album, all tracks.

But the albums where all tracks are great / good / decent - Purple Rain and Lovesexy. All the rest have at least 2-3 weak songs.
