Your description perfectly captures what Dig U Better Dead does for me. I remember singing this song in Kindergarten, which was when the Black album went into bootleg cirulation. None of the other kids knew what I was singing, but I was just trying to impress this one girl. But by then, no one really cared about Prince as much as they did for Janet Jackson or L.L. Cool J.
